In the previous lesson you have discussed about the literary selection
by one of the Philippine’s finest author Carlos Bulosan in his story
“My Father Goes to Court”. You have practiced the used of the
reading styles skimming and scanning which are also useful in citing
evidence and reactions.

All texts or reading passages have evidence. If you find it difficult answering
the questions and proving your answers correct, use CALM strategy as your
guide.
To further understand the lesson, you will read a parable entitled “The
Parable of the Rainbow Colors” by Juan M. Flavier.
