Grade 10 Abra students successfully submitted their Performance-based Assessment on preparing
and delivering argumentative speech. To prepare themselves, they need to submit their rough draft for
checking purposes. Upon checking, they need to take a video of themselves reciting their speech.

DATA ANALYSIS
There are 16 out of 35 or 45.71% of the Grade 10 students were able to submit their argumentative
speech and 5 out of 35 or 14.29% were able to send their videos. Some of the reasons were some have
limited internet connection and also due to academic break set by the Department of Education.

WAYS FORWARD
The second grading period performance assesseement showcases the different talents and skills of
the learners in delivering speech. For this assessment, some of the problems I encountered are some
students find it hard to make a speech due to lack of sources and internet connection. Some students were
very shy in taking their videos. For the next activity I will try to explain to them ways on how to make essay
so that they will not commit plagiarism and teach them ways in presenting themselves in speech.
