I. INTRODUCTION
In distance learning, the knowledge for web-based technology is a must for
teachers. The utilization of digital learning tools to facilitate effective learning is essential.
Knowledge and skills about online and offline applications are effective strategies to
create presentations thru video lessons to reach the learners for them to acquire
learnings.
Here are the objectives of the activity:
 To provide teachers with web technology-based teaching strategies and
approaches
 To use digital learning tools and facilitate personalized learning effectively
 To deliver creative instructional materials for the students
 To have better capabilities for meeting diverse learners’ needs

II. NARRATIVES
A. Description of the Activity
The LAC session focused on presentation and creation of Instructional
Materials Using Different Applications such as using animations in power point
presentations and using an offline video editor which is video scribe. The guest
speaker is Mr. Wayne Vincent Tolomia who is working as Media and Lecturer –
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in one of the University in Thailand. He
presented video tutorials of how to create animations in power point application and

how to make a creative video lesson in an application called video scribe. The steps
were demonstrated by Mr. Tolomia. After his talk, the certificate of recognition is
given to him virtually together with the proponents of today’s activities.

III. MONITORING AND EVALUATION:

A. Level of Practice
Based on the activity conducted, it was evaluated as Very Satisfactory since the
teacher’s gained knowledge and skills regarding the creation of instructional materials
using different applications.

B. Challenges Encountered
The teacher must have their laptops with them while the guest speaker is
demonstrating on how to create animations and utilize different video editor.

C. Responses to Challenges Encountered

 Apply the knowledge and skills learned after the session
 Create a video lesson utilizing power point animations or video scribe

D. Ways Forward
 The teachers must use the various strategies in creating meaningful
instructional materials as applications of learning from the web-technology
assisted session.
