NARRATIVE REPORT
Orientation on Project VAPE: E-Cigarette

The term "vape" refers to the informal act of inhaling and exhaling vapor generated by an electronic
cigarette or other comparable device. These devices produce vapor that the user inhales after heating a liquid
solution—often containing nicotine, flavorings, and other substances. The practice of vaping has grown in
popularity as a substitute for traditional tobacco smoking. Many people view this as a safer option because it
does not involve the tar and combustion byproducts that come with burning tobacco. There are several uses
for assessment.

 Assessment for learning: When teachers use assessment to get a better understanding of
what their students comprehend, they may better organize and direct their lesson and
provide students insightful feedback.
 Assessment as learning: When students become aware of how they learn, they may utilize
that knowledge to improve and advance their learning while also taking on more
responsibility for it.
 Assessment of learning: When students, teachers, parents, and the larger educational
community are informed of attainment at a certain point in time, it allows for celebration
of accomplishments, the planning of interventions, and the encouragement of further
advancement.

Planning the assessment must have the end in mind. In order to support and enhance students'
learning, assessment for, as, and of learning must be properly balanced. The interpretation and utilization of
the data obtained for the desired goal are the most crucial aspects of evaluation.
The process of assessment is integrated into learning. It is closely related to the curriculum and
teaching methods. Assessment is a constant component of instruction, directing students' next actions, and
monitoring progress and achievement as teachers and students work to meet curriculum objectives. For
classroom assessments, teachers employ a variety of procedures and techniques that they then modify to meet
the requirements of particular pupils.
In line with this, Bunggo National High School team conducted a Learning Action Cell last March 01,
2023 in order to revisit and relearn the fundamentals concepts and techniques in assessing the learners. Mrs.
Milagros Llarena, Ms. Ciara Theresse C. Palisoc, and Miss Claudine Lumibao serve as resource speakers in
the said activity.
Before it started participants was asked to answer the Pre-Test via quizziz online app that serve also as
motivation. Speakers discuss every details needed that truly helped the teachers to refresh about the topic. It
was very amazing and wonderful talk because all teachers were enjoying learning because it is truly helpful
when it comes to the teaching-learning process. Lastly, after the fruitful discussion participants asked to
answer the Post -Test and Evaluation.
In conclusion assessment is the only way to know how your students are progressing and what they
need to be taught. Assessment is the heart of education. Without it, we don't know how well the students are
doing, their strengths, and what they need to work on.
