ACTIVITY TITLE Multimodal Instructional-Learning Delivery & Classroom Management

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION According to RO-NO-4-S.-2021, Education continues despite challenges

and limitations brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. The
Department of Education (DepEd) CALABARZON has put forward
Comprehensive PIVOT4A Basic Education Learing Continuity Plan (BE-
LCP) to ensure that the same quality education is delivered to all learers
effectively and efficiently.

With the approval of the Secretary of the Department of Education, Leonor

Magtolis-Briones, the PIVOT4A SLMs shall be the primary source of
information to be used by the teachers and the learners for the Modular
Distance Learning. It shall also be the basis of instruction for the Online
Distance Learning, Radio-Based/TV-Based Instruction and Blended
Distance Learning.
ACTIVITY OBJECTIVE/S To provide teachers with skills and competencies related to multimodal
teaching and learning strategies and classroom management related to
implementation of LF2F classes.

PERSONS INVOLVED Principal, Head Teachers, Guidance Counselor, Grade Level

Implementing Chairpersons, Class Advisers/ Parents, LGUs specifically
from MSWD, BHERT/ BHW, barangay police

SCOPE Pending the issuance of a Revised Joint Memorandum for the expansion
phase, the main protocols and standards in the DepEd-DOH Joint
Memorandum Circular 001, s. 2021 shall remain applicable as
appropriate, with the following main parameters for inclusion:
1. Expansion schools have been validated as compliant with the
standards of School Safety Assessment Tool (SSAT)
2. Schools must be located in areas under alert levels 1 and 2 based
on the periodic risk assessment by Department of Health
3. Schools may already include other grade levels based on the
capacity of schools
4. Schools or Division must have secured the concurrence of the
Local Chief Executive in the Municipality where the expansion
school is located, and the schools must also have taken the proper
coordination with their respective barangay officials.
5. Students participating in the face-to-face classes must have the
written consent of their parents.
6. Schools are given flexibility in contact time for teaching and
learning, provided that meals are not taken in school except
during managed recess.
7. Only vaccinated teachers may participate in the face-to-face
classes, and vaccinated learners shall be preferred.
