TECHNICAL ISSUES
All the parties should be conscious to their duties and responsibilities to accomplish the
project. The client has to express his requirement and vision clearly to the consultant or
his parties. If he is not clear or confused the other parties will record it ambiguously.
The consultant or the second party has to understand or extract the intention and
requirement of the client in meticulous manner to exhibit him a capable implementor.
Survey of site and scope prior proceeding the project is of prime importance. The
aluminium contractor has to make a several meeting with client/consultant to get as
adequate information as possible. Advisable not to proceed the actual work unless needed
information not received.
Before approaching to client for information and data, sub contractor should have series
of meeting/discussion/studies to know what is required for proper implementation of
project work. For example, getting exact location and quantities of each items and its
positioning/specification as agreed; dimensions and details as per actual site condition;
clearance of openings and area.
1. The organization and distribution of ACP panels at site should have been done in such a way that the
installer could find the panels for each elevation.
2. If the installation starts from the bottom, the panels should be stored in series to find the bottom first and
end towards the top.
3. The dimensions of openings and civil structure should be given as accurate as possible so that the
maximum of the panel sizes can be taken off from the design department.
4. The corners and inaccessible region dimension should be cross checked to match
5. Quality control during installation and fabrication should take place to prevent further mistakes and
early corrections.
