Between 10pm and 2am is where you can get the most from regenerative and deep sleep

After 2am, sleep lacks the same quality that you need as it becomes more superficial, it can chronically
deprive your body of regenerative sleep

When you wake up, your subconscious mind is most impressionable and soaks up information like a
sponge.

Your body is closely connected to your day and night cycle – when the sun begins to go
down, your body starts producing the sleep hormone called melatonin, at midnight,
melatonin reaches their highest value and gradually start decreasing after this

At 10pm is when your body reacts as a result of the increment and melatonin levels, this
period of transformation in your sleep cycle brings along with it a more intense metabolic
activity

This one is responsible for the repair and restoration of the whole body – in order for this 10pm
reaction to take place, your body needs to slow down, your mental and physical activity reduces

Beta Brain Waves
When you wake up in the morning and your eyes start to see daylight, there are signals that get
transmitted from the optic nerve to the pineal gland and the pineal gland begins to make a hormone
called serotonin

Serotonin is the daytime excitement hormone and it creates excited activity and function in the brain

You begin to pay attention to your outer world

The brains job is to create meaning between the outer world and the inner world

If you want to be defined by thought alone, you have to become

When you block out external sensory by plugging your ears with
meditation and closing your eyes, you are blocking out much if

Making your body sit still, taking in less stimulation, less focus on
your outer world…then allows you to enter into a thought state
alone

The brainwaves slow down and move into Alpha – that is the
imaginary world where the inner world is greater than the outer
world

You could still hear and sense the outer world but your focus
and attention is on the inner world

When you allow your body to fall asleep and your mind is still awake,
you are moving into the Theta brain wave state.
This is when the body is no longer the mind.

The body is the mind when you’re awake because feelings, emotions,
senses are in the body so the body takes over the mind when you are awake

When you fall asleep, the body goes to sleep and the mind takes over
and this is when immediate change can take place

If you miss the Theta brain wave state, you move into Delta

Delta is the restorative deep sleep brain wave

Every now and then you see Gamma brain waves which
is super consciousness.

It’s energy that sits in the lower centers. It is used for sexual expression,
digest your food, drive aggressively, tell someone off, being chased by something
scary, to produce a baby

Instead of them moving out, they begin to move up, and gets moved up into the brain

with their eyes open

From 2-6 years old, they are in Theta. They see things you don’t, they are in a lucid state.

0-6 years old their brain is in a completely subconscious state. Their inner world is greater than their
outer world. They are in an imaginary state.

As they learn the laws of their environment, their brain moves into the Alpha state. In alpha, they
pretend, they play, they are paying attention to their outer world.

After 12 they move into Beta consistently. The other brain wave doors shut.
