Preeti: And I am Preeti. We are your Emcees for today.

Before we start today’s, let’s welcome our new members.

We have two new YWD members CAMELA and Namita. Heartiest welcome to both Camela and
Namita. Could you please introduce yourselves. Namita can we start from you?

Camilla please introduce yourself.

Nalinee: Let us get started. In SGI, 2021 is considered as the year of Hope and Victory. As this is the
end of the year for the School students, and since we are students of Buddhism, we thought it would
a great opportunity to recognize and appreciate our fellow members who all have worked very hard
for Kosen-rufu all year long.

Hence, in today’s session, we are presenting awards to each one of you.

Preeti: We would like to say that we all have many great qualities, and today’s awards are based on
our views and should be taken in a lighthearted manner.

Nalinee: We have a special guest, a cute little girl who enjoys participating in Buddhist activities, Ms.
Tvisha Shiwani, to present the awards. Please welcome the pretty Tvisha. Lets get started

Tvisha: Thank you Nalinee. Our 1st Award is for Ms. Creative for her contribution. Any guesses? And
the award goes to Akshu.

Nalinee: Thank you Akshu for preparing the beautiful souvenirs at many meetings and leading the
culture through your singing and choreographing in the dances this year.

Tvisha: The next award for Ms. Enthusiastic goes to Tina. Thank you Tina for always bringing in a lot
of energy in our discussions and study meetings.

Preeti:On this note, we would like to invite Tina and Akshu to share the significance of the month.

Nalinee: Thank you Akshu and Tina. Shall we now move to the next set of awards?

Preeti:Yes absolutesly,The next award for Ms. Strong determination goes to Sunaina, for
demonstrating her strong ichinen and achieving magnificent victories in her life.

Tvisha: The award for Ms. Vivacious, goes to a person who enjoys every SGI activity to the fullest
and was also a big part of an important SGI event held recently, the Poetic Heart. Any guesses –
you’re absolutely right, the award goes to Surbhi

Preeti: The next award for Ms. Positivity is for a person who loves to have fun and her smile brings
joy…we have always seen her smiling. And that is Delna

Preeti: Now, we would like to request Delna to share her experience.

Preeti: Thank you Delna

Tvisha: The next award for Ms. Seeking spirit goes to Shivi, for her quest in acquiring knowledge
through study and one on one discussions.
Preeti: The next award goes to a lady who never refuses an SGI activity, always does her best to
complete the task at hand within the timeline allocated to her, inspite of being busy with her small
kid and a busy job.

Tvisha: It’s the Ms. Consistent award and it goes to Saumya, thank you Saumya for your efforts.

Tvisha: The next award for Ms. Perseverance goes to Neha, who has an attitude of Never giving up.

Preeti: We all have seen her go through a number of challenges this year and yet keeping an attitude
of overcoming each and every challenge without giving up. Thank you Neha.

Nalinee: and The award for Mr. Digital contributor goes to Lavin, thank you for always helping with
the technical matters and arranging the key takeaway points for the studies.

Tvisha: this award for Mr. Learned in Buddhism whom we all appreciate for sharing his deep
thoughts and in-depth knowledge …. Any guesses?

Nalinee: And the award goes to Amit.

Nalinee: The next award is for Usha as Ms. Resilience, for having an amazing spirit and to keep
going no matter what.

Preeti: On this note, we would like to welcome our study group comprising of Lavin, Delna, Neha,
Usha, supported by Amit and Akshu to share a wonderful study on ‘Faith for Health and long life’.

Nalinee: Thank you Study group for enhancing our knowledge through your outstanding topic of
study.

Moving on with our awards, the award for Mr. Seeking spirit goes to Tarun for his eagerness to learn
more about the Buddhist practice as a new member.

Tvisha: The next award for Ms. Persistent goes to Angela, for her tireless effort and the spirit to
continuing no matter what.

Preeti: The award for Mr. & Mrs. Aspiring goes to Manish and Suvidha as our new members with
keenness to learn and know more about SGI.

Tvisha: The award for Mr. Positive attitude goes to Haresh for being so sincere in every study
preparation and other SGI activity undertaken by him.

Nalinee: Now lets call upon Tina and Lavin to play the culture.

Nalinee: Thank you Tina and Lavin for a fantastic culture.

Nalinee: The award for Mr. Knowledgeable goes to Deepak for his deep knowledge of Buddhism
and his contributions in the study meetings.

Tvisha: The award for Mr. Confident goes to Sumit for his confidence in the practice and
understanding of Buddhism.

Tvisha: The next award for Mr. Rising Youth goes to Ujjwal for his youthful spirit and contribution to
the SGI activities.
Preeti: The award for Ms. Conscientious goes to Anubhooti for taking up the responsibilities for
communication and support in her group.

Nalinee: Before we close the meeting, we would like to bestow our last award for Ms. Rising star to
our future division member Tvisha, for always actively participating in the SGI activities.
