INVESTITURE CEREMONY - COMPERING:

INTRODUCTION
Abinav: “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way”.

Very good morning to one and all present here. I, Abinav of class 10, here to lead you
through today's proceedings. We have all gathered here on this pleasant morning to
witness one of the most auspicious occasions of our school - The Investiture Ceremony
of the academic year 2022-2023.

Swati: As we continue the journey of our founder, revered father Murphy, and strive
hard to take Vana Vani to greater heights, there is no doubt that leaders play a major
role in every aspect.

In this solemn ceremony, the leaders of our school, the student council, are vested not
only with power but also great responsibility to keep up the good work. It is here that we
entrust faith and hope in them.

I would only say - “Let our actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more
and become more, be a leader!”

PRAYER AND TAMIL THAI VALTHU

Abinav: Let us start this propitious morning, seeking blessings from the Almighty. May I
invite our school choir to render the prayer song followed by Tamil Thai Valthu.

something we do as a duty or obligation, but something we do with delight because we
believe it is a means to comprehend the ultimate truth.

Abinau: So now we have Gokulnath Sreehari of class 10B to chant verses from the
Bhagavad gita, Samuel Theodere of class 9C to quote verses from the Bible and
Vahbiya of class 9C to recite verses from the Quran.

Swati: Thank you, friends, that was profound indeed.

mistress to come forward to hand over the house flags and placards to the respective
house captains.
