1. Elaborate the form of art in the primitive era.

Primitive art is the most primitive kind of art known to man. It refers to the art of specific groups
of people who are thought to be outside the areas of influence of other main cultural groupings.
Primitive art refers to works created in tribal cultures, such as Pacific Island groups. These works
include Stone Age cave paintings, wooden sculptures, and engravings. Originally, primitive art
was created to allow the spirit realm to penetrate the physical world. Ancestor worship was the
primary interest of early painters. Much primitive art consists of elongated ancestor figures
carved from rock with exaggerated face characteristics. Painting was utilized alongside
sculpting, which was the most popular form of primitive art. Primitive art can be categorized into
three parts: realistic, stylized, and abstract. Naturalistic art displays genuine things, such as
persons and animals, as they are or as close to reality as possible. However, certain drawings,
such as a human depicted as a stick figure, may be rather rudimentary. Stylized art displays
things that aren't genuine but have some resemblance to truth, such as legendary creatures, faces
ornamented like masks, or twisted objects. Abstract art displays items that have no real-world
basis, such as geometric patterns, spirals, and curves.
