1. I examined and found that HRM is a feature that facilitates cross-functional

coordination and assures that the organization’s arrangement is followed. HRM

entailed processing salaries, delivering birthday presents to staff, organizing business

outings, and double-checking forms—in other words, more of a logistical role than a

strategic role vital to the organization’s progress. Yes, I think organizations are doing

enough to address systemic discrimination in the recruitment and selection processes.

Testing is only one component of a rational recruiting and screening process, and it

can only be used to help managers pick out candidates who do not follow the

selection criterion and fall under a certain standard (Hjsolicitors, 2021). Suppose a

professional requirement is required to play the job successfully. It should be

established at the start of the process, candidates should be informed, and any who do

not meet the requirement will not be considered for the position.

Panel participants must be particularly vigilant during the interview stage to

avoid making assumptions about candidates based on personal experiences and

prejudice. They must ensure that decisions regarding a candidate’s suitability are

purely based on how well they fit the job’s requirements, as illustrated in the

individual definition. Organizations, in my opinion, perform consistent career

interviews and evaluation centers. Just look for habits and behaviors that you want to

see. Be sure interviewers and assessors are not only looking for candidates of

common personalities or perspectives than themselves (Hamill, 2019). Currently, I am

working in a small-scale company. This company performs many things to make fully

inclusive workplaces. The company celebrates diverse festivals in the workplace to

make us friendlier. It also conducts training for us. This company teaches people

about cultural diversity and integration to accept and embrace one another’s

differences. It is also important that they undergo advanced training and advancement.

2. From this course, I acquired many new and interesting information regarding “human

resource” management. I did not have any idea regarding the significance and use of

HRM in a company. However, from this course, I have learned about In today’s

world, HRM principles and strategies for managing individuals and the influence that

good supervision and employee satisfaction may have on an organization’s

competitiveness and performance are discussed. Before taking this course, I believed

that HRM is just a static department, but I was wrong. It must evolve and adjust in

response to changes in the environment, changes in employee preferences, etc. Due to

technical advances, HRM must offer continuing training and growth to workers

(Cooke & Dickmann, 2020). I also thought that the main function of the HRM

department is the recruitment and job advertisement. However, it has many roles and

responsibilities like maintaining the workforce, appraisal, performance improvement,

corporate image, etc. HRM assists in the development of a long-term competitive

advantage for a corporation. Managers should regard their staff as strategic business

partners rather than as expenses to be cut or stopped. It aids in achieving optimal

individual growth, a positive working relationship between workers and employers,

employees and staff, and successful human capital modeling as opposed to physical

resource modeling.
