- food
- services
- luxury items (for example: household appliances, computers, televisions etc.)
- pocket money
- pocket money is usually for the children in the family
- useful because the kids can learn the value of money
- forms of paying
-paying in cash
-paying with debit card/ credit card
-paying online (for example: online services, webshops etc.)
- voucher
- saving money (where you can shop at reduced prices)
- supermarkets are usually cheap but it's recommended to wait for sales
-second-hand shops
-coupon days -> big discount
- how you can get informed about price reductions and sales
- through the magazines that the shop gives
- you can get informed while you go to the shop
- online (but it's rather rare)

2. Shopping and services

- the main differences between a corner shop and a supermarket
-the corner shop is more expensive and it has less goods to sell than the supermarket
-the supermarket is usually cheaper and has a lot more goods to sell but it could be
far away from your home not like corner shops
- the reason for going to each of these places
- corner shops are good for buying less goods as fast as possible
- supermarkets are more prefered when you need to buy a large amount of goods
- how often you go there
- corner shops are more used at villages because they are close so I would say
people go there almost every 2 days
- supermarkets are really good for buying large amounts of goods but because they
are usually far away I would say people go there in every 6-7 days
- jobs around the house people can do themselves
-gardening
-animal keeping
-changing a bulb
-painting walls
- cases when you need special services or a repairman
- broken appliances
- pipe problems
- electricity problems
- getting television or internet services
- repairs your family does at home
-(in my case) fixing the roof of the house
- services that a bank or a post office provide for us
- posts can deliver letters or packages
- we can get loans, invoices etc.
