GUIDE QUESTIONS:

1. What are the different social groups in your barangay? Name them.

- Families, circle of friends, local chapters of fraternities, local religious

congregations, barangay officials, youth organizations, parents' groups and
garden clubs.

2. How do these groups affect how we think and behave?

- Through facilitating performance, these group scenarios can improve human

behavior. People allow social factors to impact their thinking and conduct for
a variety of reasons. One reason is that we frequently adapt to a group's
norms in order to obtain approval from its members. Cooperation, on the
other hand, can lead to a conformity of viewpoints, a phenomenon known as
groupthink.

ACTIVITY 3. POSTER MAKING

REFLECTION

I have learned that human societies are defined by patterns of relationships (social
relations) between individuals who share a common culture and institutions, according to
what I've studied.

I have realized that understanding how society is organized allows us to investigate how
social interactions influence the role and power we play as individuals, groups, and nations.

I will apply all that I've learnt and realized about the social institutions.

REFLECTION

I have learned that State organizations are important because they provide essential
services to everyone's life.

I realized that without non-state organizations it would be difficult to raise public

awareness of human rights issues and bring attention to those responsible.

Studying State and Non-State institutions are important because state institutions are an
economy's primary facilitator of social and economic development. Research shows that
these institutions can be a major source of growth; effective institutions aid investment in
physical and human capital, in research and development, and in technology.

REFLECTION

I have learned that an education is important institution of society because education

is not only a trend but a lifelong investment for the physical, mental, and spiritual
well-being of every individual. It is through education where we understand our real
identity, purpose, roles, and responsibilities in this world. Not only we understand
these things theoretically, but we are also trained to apply skills and competence to
survive and live fully in this life.

I realized that without an educational system without education, society as a whole

would seize to exist; the knowledge to invent new drugs to cure different diseases
would not be available, new societies would not be built, and technology could not
move forward.

Studying the functions and importance of education it educates individuals within

society, to prepare and qualify them for work in the economy as well as to integrate
people into society and teach them values and morals of society. Role of education is to
socialize individuals and to keep society smoothing and remain stable.

factors including money, income, race, education, and power.

ACTIVITY 2. HUMAN BODY AND SOCIETY

GUIDE QUESTIONS:
1. What are the functions of each part of the body mentioned above?
● Two eyes, two ears, a nose, and a tongue inside the mouth are sensory organs
in the head. It's also where the brain is kept. By sending sensory information
to the brain, these organs work as a processing center for the body.
● The arm is used to reach out and grab anything, including food and tools.
● Food goes from the esophagus to the stomach and is temporarily stored in the
belly for two hours or more. By contracting and relaxing the muscle layers of
the stomach, the stomach mixes and breaks down food. the process of
digesting
● The feet are flexible bone, joint, muscle, and soft tissue structures that allow
us to stand upright and undertake activities like as walking, running, and
jumping.

2. How would you compare the 4 parts of the body to the different professions or
working classes in our society?
● They both have similar functions within the same body. Because it has
distinct levels or states of living, it will be compared to society in terms of
social classes. There are several different types of social classes. The elite,
medium, and lower classes exist in our society, but they all coexist.

3. Rank the 4 parts of the body in terms of importance, roles, and responsibilities
in people’s life. Justify your answers.
● The head is at the top of the list in terms of importance, roles, and
responsibilities in people's lives because it houses our brain, which
commands our body movements; second, the arms because you can't finish
something right away without them; third, the belly because it digests food
and contains the flesh within us; and finally, the feet. This is the least
significant to me. The role of the feet is to assist in mobility. It enables
mobility as well as a variety of physical functions. It also supports the
body's weight. At various angles and situations, it balances the full body
weight.

4. Why is coordination among body parts important for the well-being of a person?
● Because it has complete control over everyone's conduct, thoughts, and
actions.

5. Write 2 valuable lessons you have learned that can be applied to the society as well.
● To begin, I learned that, just as in society, everyone has
various duties and responsibilities.
● Education's goal is to socialize people and keep society
running smoothly and consistently.

REFLECTION

I have learned that an organization is a company that was founded to meet the needs and
desires of the general public.

I realized that organizations and institutions are important because they are
interchangeable terms. In fact, they are interchangeable. They bring people together by
offering services that are necessary in everyone's life.

Both State and Non-State institutions are important because both of them are fulfilling
their jobs in providing services that provide comfort to many people and even save lives.
