I. OBJECTIVES

At the end 30-minute, 100% of the students should be able to achieve at least 80%
of the skills and learning by:

a. knowing what is point of view;


b. valuing the importance of using the different types of point of views in constructing
sentences
c. making a short video showing the use of different point of view in a conversation

II. SUBJECT MATTER

D. Skills
After 30 minutes the learners should know what is point of view, understand the
importance of using different types of point of view, and create a short conversational
video using the different type of views of Pronouns

E. Values Integration:
Develops Critical, creative, communication and Collaborative Skills among students,
understand the importance of the different point of views and able to make use of it.

F. Strategies

a. Analyze Me
This strategy aims to call the attention of the students to analyze the pictures being
presented to them.
b. Plan It and Act it Challenge
This activity allows students to be creative in making short conversational videos
about the lesson different point of views.
c. Share it with me
This activity will allow students to share their learning and insights with their
classmates.

“Analyze Me” wherein you will read the sentences
and tell me what are your ideas about it.

The pronouns you have noticed are representing a


perspective. This perspective is what we are going to
study today.

So, let us start on our new lesson,

Point of view
-the perspective from which a piece of text is
written.
-also known as the view point. It refers to
someone’s perspective or opinions of a certain thing
-it is the standpoint of a person on a particular thing
that he/ she saw, read or experienced.

Point of view is a reflection of the opinion a person


towards something. These are the three points of
views

• 1st Person point of view


-involves the use of either of the pronouns I, Me,
my, Myself, Mine, Us, we, are and ourselves.
When we talk about ourselves our opinions and
things that happen to us. Student: We are all happy

• 2nd Person point of view


-involves the use of either of the pronouns you, your,
and yourself/ yourselves
-it belongs to the person (or people) being addressed.
This is the “you” perspective

For example, is when your teacher addresses the


entire class, he / she is using 2nd person point of view. Student: You guys are great!
Example: You should make your dreams come true.
You were all great for today’s performance. Student: Your acting skills are
cool!

• 3rd person point of view

--Involves the use of He, She, him, Her/Hers, His,


They, Their/theirs, them, it and Its
-It belongs to the person (or people) being talked
about.
Example: It takes them a lot of courage to conquer
their fears.

every day in the park.

-You can ask for help with your parents, sisters or
your brothers regarding the activity.

-You will be given 2minutes to present and you are
going to be graded according to this rubric:
