B. Explain the importance of studying different places and

landscapes. (You may use word/app or any device to type your
answer)
It is important for us, humans, to study different places and landscapes all over the world.
And here are the few reasons why studying it is significant today.

First, the significance is that, it allows us to understand and analyze the interrelationship
of man and his environment both in the global and local contexts. It provides not only a body of
knowledge about the creation of places and regions but also a deep understanding of the
interdependence of places and regions in a globalizing world - reflecting the major changes that
have recently been impressed on global, national and regional landscapes.

Second, knowing the different places and landscapes is also knowing the different era and
the role it played in people’s lives, environments and ideas. Places plays a major role in our
history and has helped mold the world we live in today.

Third, learning all the different places on earth allows us to know its cultural
characteristics as well as the physical characteristics that enables us to be more productive and
effective in a world that has become interdependent. Considering how global our market
economies have become, it’s important to know more about countries and their locations to
better understand the effect they have on the market.

Fourth, studying these enables us to have a better understanding of society and why we
live in the places we do. Why did certain areas flourish while others didn’t? Studying Places and
Landscapes helps us understand why certain locations are ideal for living and why others are not.

Fifth, studying these makes us have a better appreciation of Earth as our home and have a
better understanding of its limitations and be more responsible in the way we manage and treat
our home. In addition, by studying places and landscapes, researchers learn how peoples
activities affect the land. Their studies may suggest ways that will help us protect the delicate
balance of Earths ecosystems.

Last one, landscapes and features are important because they contribute significantly to
our well-being and quality of life. They provide the broader context within which we live our
