PIPE WORKS
To rectify clamp for Hydrophore FW pump delivery line.
To rectify leakages in Fresh water tank (Port) bulkhead.
To fabricate one gas charging line for ECR A/C (PORT).
To rectify FW pipeline leakage in Lube oil store.
To renew ECR aft entrance door lock.
To fabricate a pipe in H.F.O service tank for taking sounding.
To fabricate and install both Fwd & aft fender crane limit switch activation bar.
To clean M/E (P & S) both charge air cooler.
To renew ECR A/C (STBD) thermostatic expansion valve.
To modify ECR A/C PORT defrosting heating line.
To renew H.T & L.T. cooler s.w. inlet & outlet badly corroded pipe
To replace/repair M/E (P) Turbocharger turbine side gas admission casing due to
leakage, carry out pressure test and renew nuts and studs (Material- Heat
resistant SS).
To repair/rectify SW leakage from wasted bulkhead plate of No. 16 WBT above
M/E (S) propeller shaft area.
Need to repair following engine room pump and cooler base support:
i. No 1 and 2 HT Cooling pump
ii. No 1 LT pump
iii. Foam Pump
iv. Fire/Ballast pump
v. Fire/Deck wash pump
vi. HT/LT cooler
vii. SW pump
To repair corroded bulkhead plate beside HT & LT expansion tank.
To renew section of sewage O/B line near M/E (S).
To fabricate 2 Nos. F-key for operating valve wheel. (API)
To rectify gas leakage of M/E (P & S) exhaust trunking. Need to renew M/E
(PORT & STBD) flexible bellows before EGE inlet if found leaky.
To fabricate/repair Lifeboat (STBD) fuel oil tank leakage
To clear drain line near No. 03 A/E S.W. inlet line strainer.
To repair/renew 4 nos. leaky ball valves in M/E F.O. electric heater F.O. line.
(APS)
To dismantle M/E FO HEATER (Thermal Oil) assy. and carry out pressure test at
10 bar, plug leaky tubes and secure with welding/brazing, install heater F. O.
inlet line with valve and box back in good order.
To install ball v/v with plug in M/E (P & S) scavange manifold to facilitate
draining of EGE washing water. (APS)
To rectify Hydraulic oil leakage in 02 Nos. capstan (STBD) pipeline.
To renew Foam compound p/p mechanical seal and foam system all damaged
pipeline. (APS)
To charge Nitrogen in Bladder Accumulator of valve remote control hydraulic

To fabricate 08 Nos. No. 03 A/E jacket cooler S.W, line sacrificial anode. (APS)
To rectify M/E (STBD) Lube oil backwash filter L.O. pipe leakage.
To rectify ECR A/C condenser (P) end cover leakage.
To repair M/E LT cooler and HT cooler wasted head frame. Need to clean LT and
HT cooler plates and renew leaky seals.
To repair Accom. A/C condenser s.w. inlet & outlet badly corroded line.
To repair remote operation for Quick closing valves.
To rectify Valve remote control oil leakages in cargo & ballast tanks
Foam & Fire p/p both delivery interconnection pipeline to be renewed aps.
ECR A/C plant #2 condenser s.w. inlet & outlet pipe line to be renewed aps.
Emergency fire p/p s.w. inlet & outlet pipe line to be renewed aps.

Accom. A/C plant#1 & #2 piping to be pressure tested, same to be repaired or
renewed aps.
MSW P/P Port gland seal leaking, same to be repaired.

M/E FO Booster pump to be overhauled.
M/E FO Supply pump pressure regulating v/v to be overhauled.
Both steering gear system leaky cover seal to be renewed aps.
Followings to be cleaned:
aa) M/E FO electrical heater
bb) M/E (S) scavenge air cooler
cc) M/E (P) scavenge air cooler
dd) M/E (P) lub. oil cooler
dd) M/E (S) lub. oil cooler
E/R floor plates to be fixed and its broken supporting angle bars to be fitted at
various places as required.
E/R all floor drain lines to be made blockage free.
M/E stbd unit no 2 & 8 and M/E port unit no 4 & 7 cam shaft to be replaced
upon receiving new cam shaft.
Need to polish propeller blades, built up propeller boss flange (BSCMW), need
to renew circular zinc anode
Pressure test both rudder and renew plates
Need to order teflon round seals for rudder
Under water plates thickness gauging should be done according to class
requirement( Western marine)
Check gearbox inside and renew leaky high pressure pipe if necessary
Order SS nuts and bolts for stern tube sealing flange and propeller
Renew stern tube seals and fabricate net cutter
Check tailshaft for cracks, wear down
E/ R bilge space and tank top de- sludging to be done to facilitate plate renewal
Check thermal oil leakage or sea water leakage in bunker tanks and sewage
tanks
Sea chest mud to be removed
Prepare SKF injection pump and hydraulic hand pump for muff coupling removal
Desludge ER tanks and ballast tanks to facilitate thickness gauging
Need to renew propeller blade seal if leaky
Need to overhaul steering gear actuator and renew both upper and lower side
seals
Need to overhaul VRC actuators and valve block by shore workshop
