Subject: Observation of "SADBHAVANA DIWAS" at 3:15 PM on 18.08.2022-reg.

The birth Anniversary of the former Prime Minister of India, Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi
(20th August) is celebrated every year as 'sadbhavana Diwas'. The theme of Sadbhavana
Diwas is to promote National Integration and Communal Harmony among people of all
religions, languages and regions. The idea behind observance of Sadbhavana Diwas is to
eschew violence and to promote goodwill among the people.

2. Since, 20ft August, 2022 is falling on Saturday this year, it has been decided that the
Sadbhavana Diwas Pledge will be administered by Secretary (RD) to all officers and staff of
the Department of Rural Development at 3:15 PM on 18th Aueust. 2022 (Thursday)
throush Video Conferencins. Copy of the pledge is enclosed for ready reference.

3. All Officers/Staff are requested to kindly make it convenient to attend the Pledge.
