RESULT AND DISCUSSIONS

This chapter discusses the interpretation and the analysis of the data based on the

researchers understanding and observation of the survey that they have done with the

selection guided by the sequence of objectives.

Science Connectivity

(Definition of Science Connectivity get on google) Table 1.1 shows the science

connectivity wherein, in the statement number 1 describes that “The project tackles about

the safety of the environment” the treatment number 1 has a mean of four point sixty-

three (4.63) with a verbal description of excellent, treatment 2 has a mean of four point

seventy-seven (4.77) with a verbal description of excellent, treatment 3 has a mean of

four point seventy (4.70) with verbal description of excellent, treatment 4 has a mean of

four point sixty-three (4.63) with a verbal description of excellent, treatment 5 has a

mean of four point eighty-seven (4.87) with a verbal description of excellent, treatment 6

has a mean of four point fifty-seven (4.57) with a verbal description of excellent,

treatment 7 has a mean of four point sixty-three (4.63) with a verbal description excellent

and treatment 8 has a mean of four point sixty-seven (4.67) with a verbal description of

excellent. Therefore, the researchers conclude the product are safe for the environment.

Statement number 2 states that “The project tackles about the health safety of the

consuming public” treatment number 1 has a mean of four point sixty-three (4.63) with a

verbal description of excellent, treatment 2 has a mean of four point seventy (4.70) with a

verbal description of excellent, treatment 3 has a mean of four point sixty-two (4.62) with
a verbal description of excellent, treatment 4 has a mean of four point thirty-six (4.36)

with a verbal description of very good, treatment 5 has a mean of four point fifty-seven

(4.57) with a verbal description of excellent, treatment 6 has a mean of four point seventy

fifty-seven (4.57) with a verbal description of excellent. Therefore, it concludes that the

project tackles about the health safety of the consuming public.

Statement 3 “Utilize the natural and alternative ingredients well” treatment

number 1 has mean of four point sixty-seven (4.67) with a verbal description of excellent,

treatment 2 has mean of four point fifty (4.50) with a verbal description of very good,

treatment 3 has mean of four point seventy (4.70) with a verbal description of excellent,

treatment 4 has mean of four point fifty (4.50) with a verbal description of very good,

treatment 5 has mean of four point fifty-three (4.53) with a verbal description of

excellent, treatment 6 has mean of four point fifty-seven (4.57) with a verbal description

of excellent, treatment 7 has a mean of four point sixty-three (4.63) with a verbal

description of excellent and treatment 8 has a mean of four point fifty-seven (4.57) with a

verbal description of excellent. Therefore, we could say that the product utilized the

natural and alternative ingredients well.

The highest overall mean among the 8 treatments is treatment 3 which mean of

four point seventy (4.70) with a verbal description of excellent. While the lowest is the

treatment 2 and 4 with a mean of four point fifty (4.50) and a verbal description of very

good.

Statement number 2 “The project shows development”, wherein, treatment 1 has a

2 has mean of four point fifty-seven (4.57) and with a verbal description of excellent,

treatment 3 it has a mean of four point sixty-three (4.63) and has a verbal description of

excellent, treatment 4 has a mean of four point seventy (4.70) with a verbal description of

excellent, treatment 5 has a mean of four point sixty (4.60) and has a verbal description of

excellent, treatment 6 has a mean of four point fifty-three (4.53) with a verbal description

of excellent, treatment 7 has a mean of four point forty-three (4.43) with a verbal

description of very good, at last treatment 8 has a mean of four poin sixty (4.60) and has a
verbal description of excellent. Therefore we could say that all of the products show

development.

Statement number 3, “The project promoted a new initiating product in the

market” on the treatment 1, with a mean of four point fifty (4.50), with a verbal

description of very good, on the treatment 2, with a mean of four point forty-seven (4.47)

with verbal description of very good, on treatment 3, it has mean of four point fifty-seven

(4.57) and has verbal description of excellent, next is treatment 4 with mean of four point

seventy-three (4.73) with verbal description of excellent, treatment 5, has mean of four

point sixty-seven (4.67) with verbal description of excellent, treatment 6, has mean of

four point sixty-three (4.63) with verbal description of excellent, treatment 7, has mean of

say that all the product promoted a new initiating product in the market.

sixty-two (4.62), treatment 5 is four point sixty-three (4.63), treatment 6 is four point

SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATION

This chapter presents the summary and conclusion of the gathered data from the

respondents. It also includes the recommendation needed to improve the product which

is the alcogel.

Summary of the Findings

This project was designed to determine the feasibility of calamansi and white

vinegar as an alternative alcogel wherein it is aimed to describe the calamansi and white

vinegar in terms of science connectivity, innovation, advantages to the people and

environment, project objectives, materials and equipment and lastly, its application. Also,

to determine the treatment of the alcogel in terms of scent and color. Moreover, this study

is made to determine whether the use of material such as calamansi and white vinegar

will be efficient in making alcogel.

The researchers found out that the alcogel is effective to kill bacteria and virus.

The project was described excellently when it comes to science connectivity, innovation,

advantages to the people and environment, project objectives, materials and equipment,

application, scent and color.

Conclusions

Based from the results of the study, the following conclusions are drawn:
 1. The alcogel is outstanding in treatment 2, treatment 3, treatment 4, treatment 5,

treatment 7 and treatment 8 in terms of science connectivity, innovation, advantages to

the people and environment, project objectives, materials and equipment and application

since the overall mean are 4.61, 4.64, 4.62, 4.65, 4.58 and 4.60 respectively with a

description of excellent. However, in terms of materials and equipment in treatment 1 has

a mean of four point fifty (4.50). In project objectives, treatment 6 has a mean of four

point forty-nine (4.49). Which are verbally described as very good.

2. All the treatment in terms of scent is verbally described as excellent.

Nonetheless, in terms of color in treatment 1, treatment 3, treatment 4, treatment 7 and

treatment 8 has a verbal description of excellent. In treatment 2, treatment 5 and

treatment 6 since the overall mean are four point fifty (4.50), four point forty-eight (4.48)

and four point forty-nine (4.49) individually with verbal description of very good.

3. The feasibility of calamansi and white vinegar as an alternative homemade

alcogel is feasible.

Recommendation

On the basis conclusions represented, the following recommendations are proposed:

1. When making alcogel make sure the color of your product is captivating and

gooey to attract the user to used your product frequently.

2. The consistency of the product should be improved to avoid the stickiness.

However, the product has a smooth tecture and if the consistency will improved the

product can compare to commercialized alcogel.
