LEARNING THEORIES

Enfoques innovadores

By: Denisse Hernández

BEHAVIORISM
1.
"All behaviors are acquired through
conditioning, and conditioning
occurs through interaction with the
environment." Our actions are
shaped by environmental stimuli.

2.
COGNITIVISM

Focusses on how information is

received, organized, stored and
retrieved by the mind. It uses the
mind as an information processer,
like a computer.

CONSTRUCTIVISM 3.
Learners construct knowledge
rather than just passively take in
information. As people experience
the world they build their own
representations and incorporate
new information into their pre-
existing knowledge (schemas).

4.
HUMANISM
Affirming the dignity of each
human being, it supports the
maximization of individual liberty
and opportunity consonant with
social and planetary
responsibility.

CONECTIVISM 5.
Suggests students should combine
thoughts, theories, and general
information in a useful manner. It
accepts that technology is a major
part of the learning process and
that it gives us opportunities to
make choices about our learning.

6. ANDRAGOGY
It refers to the principles and
concepts behind the learning of
adults, and it's also often called
the Adult Learning Theory. This is
key to creating meaningful
learning experiences in today's
digital learning era.
