creative and unique food that is new to them. We all know that Filipinos loves to eat sweets

and a food that can fulfill their hunger. The entrepreneurs thought of a new product that will

surely satisfy their cravings. We call it Turon Malagkit.

This product is made up of a sticky rice with sweetened ube condensed and cheese

or sweetened chocolate condensed. These ingredients made our turon delicious and unique.

The entrepreneurs will make sure that the product will be always clean, delicious,

healthy and affordable. In this way, the company will gain a profit and have the capital back.

Since money is the first thing that needs, the entrepreneurs are good in financial managing so

it’s not a problem anymore.

used are can be found in their home. In addition, the wrapper that will be used in the product

is also homemade to lessen the expense. They will help each other and have a unity to make

their business successful and better.

The competition is enevitable but it’ll not affect the entrepreneurs and the company

because they know how to handle it. The uniqueness of the product will be the key to make

will definitely satisfy their cravings. It is a Filipino Food (TURON) but with a twist. They

can assure the customers that their products are safe and good to eat at a considerably low

price that any customers can afford. Lastly, the entrepreneurs provide not only quality

products but also quality service to build up good customer relationship and to purchase their

1,250 1,500 2,000 2,500

Here’s a walkthrough of how (Total Sales) is calculated in the example table above:

On the first month the first of the product selling, the are already 50 customers and

the percentage of Turon Ube Cheese that is sold was 60% which is 30 pieces, the chocolate

flavor was 20% - 10 pieces and also the plain flavor. So 30 pieces of ube cheese turon times

its price 25 pesos equals Php 750 plus 10 pieces of Chocolate flavor and 10 pieces of plain

flavor. Chocolate flavor equals 10 x 25 = 250, Plain Flavor 10x 25 = 250. That’s why the

total sale of the business on the month of June is 1,250.

These are the possible risk that the business can face:

• competitor coming on to the market

• introduction of new rules or legislation

• interest rate rise on your business loan or a non-paying customer

• the breakdown or theft of key equipment

• Environmental risks, such as natural disasters

• employee risk management, e.g. maintaining enough staff numbers and cover,

employee safety and up-to-date skills

• political and economic instability in any foreign markets you export goods

50

• health and safety risk

• commercial risks, including the failure of key suppliers or customers

• mergers, acquisitions and other competition

• market or industry changes

• changes among customers or in demand

• change management

• human resource issues, such as staffing

• financial issues with cash flow, capital or cost pressures

• IT disasters and equipment failure

• relationship issues, e.g. with suppliers

• reputational damage

• insufficient control systems

• lack of training

• lack of due diligence

• human error

Risk evaluation allows you to determine the importance of risks to the business. You
can then decide to accept the specific risk or take action to prevent or minimize it.

Once you have identified risks, you can rank them in order to evaluate them, this can
be done by considering the consequence and likelihood of each risk. For many businesses,
assessing consequence and likelihood as high, medium or low will suffice.

These can then be compared with your business plan to determine which risks may
affect your objectives. You should then evaluate in the light of legal requirements, costs and
investor concerns. Sometimes, the cost of reducing a potential risk may be so high that doing
nothing makes more business sense.

Laws and regulations must also followed when beginning a company so that it does

not create problems in society. Disregarding there laws may have a significant effect on a

company’s bottom line.

Needless to say, not being compliant with all licenses, permits, and tax registrations

could leave you unprotected legally, may lead to expensive penalties, and can jeopardize

your business. These are just some of the bad consequences of not following the regulations.

Moreover, common licenses, permits, and tax registrations that a business may need include

but are not limited to the following: Business License, Home Occupation Permit, Zoning Per-

mit, Building Permit, Health Department Permit, Sales Tax License, Sellers Permit, Fire and

Police Department Permit and Withholding Tax Registration. Knowing these, the said enter-

prise will give a great focus to obtain all of these requirements to not face and encounter the

unwanted consequences.

With this in mind, WRAPSA,Inc. will ensure that it is up to date on the most current

policies and regulations released by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which are

divided by industry. Clean Air Act, clean water act, and hazardous substances control act are

only a few lawsonly a few laws and regulations that WRAPSA Inc. has been concentrating

on in order to offer a high quality product at a fair price for its customers. This procedure

also includes the acquisition of licenses and permits.
