Background Information for the Learners

A paragraph is a group of sentences telling about a certain topic or idea.

• A good paragraph has three parts. These are the following:

1. The beginning sentence (topic sentence) is usually the first sentence or
topic sentence in a paragraph.
2. The middle sentence (supporting sentences)- they support the
information of the topic sentence. It includes specific details.
3. The ending sentence (conclusion) - tells what the topic sentence is all
about. It gives the summary or generalization of the paragraph.

with COVID-19 virus, the best way is to stay at home and eat nutritious foods.

There are many ways to keep us from being infected with COVID-19
disease. Regular washing of our hands with water and soap will keep us away from
