T0010 LHD’s have got a plc controlled gearshifting, declutch, ride control and converter lock-
up control. Selected gear and other information are shown on display.
Gear Selection
If one or more of these conditions are not fulfilled, gear is set to neutral.
Declutch
When machine is tramming with 1st forward or 1st reverse on, and the operator presses
declutch button, gear is shifted down to neutral and kept in neutral as long as this button is
pressed. When the button is released previous gear is set on again. Declutch function is
possible only with 1st forward or 1st reverse.
When machine is tramming forward with 1st gear, operator can press the declutch button, keep
it pressed and press reverse (R) button, now machine starts tramming backwards when
declutch button is released. This function is acting opposite way if machine is tramming first
backwards.
Converter Lock-Up
You can engage converter lock-up when you have selected driving direction and if the
converter RPM or engine RPM are within preset limits. Always when you are changing gear,
lock-up is disengaged.
To engage converter lock-up press push-button on steering joystick and to disengage it press
the same push-button again.
You can adjust the Lock-On/Lock-Off engine RPM and machine speed limits by turning the
trimmers on PLC. They are located on PLC main unit under a little hatch. Under the same
hatch there is also a PLC RUN-TERM-STOP switch that must always be on RUN position.
Trimmer(0): Lock-Off engine RPM, range 1200-1455rpm. Lock-On engine RPM is always
100rpm bigger.
Trimmer(1): Lock-On machine speed. Adjustable value is pulse frequency from cardane sensor
7 – 12 Hz.
Ride control is activated when 2. or bigger gear is selected and the button on boom/bucket
joystick is pressed, another pressing of that button de-activates ride control. Selecting 1. gear
or neutral also deactivates ride control, on that case re-activating of ride control depens on the
position of two position AUTO – MAN selector switch located on dashboard:
-On AUTO-position ride control re-activates automatically when 2. or bigger gear is selected.
-On MAN-position ride control must always be activated by pressing the button on
boom/bucket joystick.
There is an indicator light for a ride control in dashboard.
There are some information codes to indicate situations when gear can not be selected or lock-
up activated. Othervice selected gear is displayed. When situation is active code is blinking at
0,5Hz frequency. It will disappear 3 seconds after disactivation. Display shows always a code
with highest priority.
