QUARTER 2 – Module 1
WEEK 10

Activity 1  

Direction. Below are semantic webs featuring crafts made out of local materials
from Nueva Ecija and Aurora provinces. Analyze or critique the pictures by
filling in the circles with a word that describes local materials being used to
create the given craft. It can be a word describing the local materials or the
techniques being applied. You can add more circles if you want to. Do this
activity on a separate sheet of paper.

Activity 2.
Direction. Think of one local material that is abundant or present in your
community. Make a research about it and look for the following information: 
Image of the local material (can be downloaded or sketched)  Details about the
material such as name, descriptions, and area/place it grows.  Products such
as crafts or arts and the process involved  Advantages and disadvantages of
using them in an artwork Note. Do this activity using two to three sheets of
bond paper.
Activity 3
Direction. Using a local material/s found in your home/community, create a
contemporary artwork. It can be installation, land art, or mosaic. Your output
will be graded based on the given criteria. Note: Observe the health protocol in
doing the artwork. Stay inside your home while doing the activity. You can ask
the help of your parents or guardian if you need to do something hazardous
like cutting et cetera.
