Quarter 1- Module 2 Contemporary Art Forms and Their Practices
Brief recapitulation of what have been discussed last meeting.
To establish the purpose of the lesson the teacher will tell to the class that the
Philippines has so much to offer in the world in terms of arts and that it has a gold
mine of arts which is called Contemporary arts. ( Let the students share their insights
about this)
Present the classification of the contemporary art forms (choreography, musical
instrument, literary and music composition, visual design and theatrical performance)
(The contemporary artists tried to create something new out from what had already existed
and they tend to borrow, combine and explore it. They respond to the call of culturally
diverse, technological advancement and globally influenced. The breed of arts nowadays
makes use of a far-reaching of mediums. And this is now being practiced among the
regions in the Philippines at present.)
