Part 1: You want to apply for an undergraduate program at a university in the

USA. Write a letter of request to ask for further information about admission
requirements and the like. (90-100 words). Begin your letter with “Dear Sir
or Madam”.

Dear Madam/Sir,

I am writing to inquire about the undergraduate course held by your institution.

I browsed hundreds of available crash courses to find one that matches my

abilities and financial budget and was immensely impressed by the engaging
lectures offered by your program. Therefore, I would appreciate it if you could
inform me What essentials entailed for your university’s enrolment? Is there any
financial aid for overseas students?

As a learner travelling to a foreign country, I will need suitable accommodation. Is

there any dormitory room available? If there is any, how much would it cost to
reside for a year?

Please kindly furnish all the details at the earliest so that I can make wise
decisions in this regard. I am looking forward to hearing your reply soon.

Yours faithfully,

Part 2: Write an essay of about 200 -250 words about the following
statement:

We cannot help everyone in the world that needs help, so we should only be
concerned with our own communities and countries.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Whether providing aid to the overseas needy has long been a topic of interest.
While some believe that it would be absolutely justifiable to put resources into
only one’s nation rather than helping others, I am of the opinion that global
supports are irreplaceable.

Firstly, it is undeniable that support among countries have laid the foundations for
human race development, known as globalization, and therefore constitute
indispensable. Factors such as cultural exchange or economical trade which greatly
benefited from global aid contribute notably to the stable maintenance of
international relations and economies as well. So it would be implausible for nations
to develop rapidly without such advantages.

Moreover, Internal issues of a nation are not fairly reasonable to not return
support receiving from other countries. it is obvious that every single country is
now coping with its own difficulties, no exception. For example, the unprivileged can
be found not only in underdeveloped communities but also in countries that have
fully built their economies.

That is not to say that putting resources into enhancing one’s own communities is
entirely unconvincing. Of course, a nation’s own issues appear more important to
them, hence, being prioritized. But there is just no way can a country or community
fully get rid of internal problems, therefore if every country are only aware of
their own difficulties, virtually no support would be provided globally.

In conclusion, international support should be provided and returned globally so as

to maintain the human race's development. Meanwhile, a country should prioritize
its own problem addressing at a certain level.
