Considering the surge and highly infectious Omicron variant of COVID-19 and escalation of community quarantine level in many areas in the country, please be advised of the adjusted schedule of implementation of functionality assessment of the aforementioned mechanisms for CY 2022, including the year to be assessed and submission of the assessment results to the Central Office, through the National Barangay Operations Office (NBOO). Kindly refer to the attached Adjusted Schedule of Implementation of the Functionality Assessment of LCAT-VAWC, LCPC and Barangay VAW Desk this year. All members of the assessment teams concemed and others who will be involved in the activities, shall determine the most appropriate and feasible methodology based ‘on the local situation to ensure the smooth conduct of the activity. For face-to face activities, the minimum health standards and other preventive measures as prescribed by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases guidelines shall be strictly observed such as, social distancing and wearing of face masks.
