JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing technical and administrative support in the planning and in the
discharge of the function of the Office of the President and Chief Executive Officer.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Primary Functions
1. Gathers and analyzes information to provide options to aid the President/CEO in
planning and decision-making; briefs the President/CEO on critical issues involving
management decisions.
2. Reviews and analyzes various reports submitted by different units and submits them
to the President/CEO for his information.
3. Arranges the reports and presentation materials of the President/CEO to the Board of
Directors of Mapua, iPeople, and HI and to the HI Mancom.
4. Drafts the budget proposal and monitors the budget performance of the Office of the
President.
5. Records the minutes of meetings as instructed by the President/CEO.
6. Drafts replies to correspondences and letters addressed to the Office of the
President/CEO.
7. Drafts memoranda and other issuances from the Office of the President/CEO and
disseminates them through proper channels.
8. Represents the Office of the President/CEO in internal and external meetings as
instructed; submits a report on the results of such meetings.
9. Reviews purchase requests made by the Executive Secretary.
10. Works in tandem with the Executive Secretary in administering the President’s
calendar of activities, travel plans, and other engagements.
11. Performs all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
A. Education : College degree holder
B. Required Skills/
Competencies : Attention to Details, Resourcing, Sound Judgment,
Organizing, Coordinating, Communicating, Technical
Writing, Customer Service, Computer Fluency, Files

C. Work Experience: Over three years relevant work experience, with
emphasis on oral and written communication skills,
critical thinking ability, computer literacy, physical
and electronic files management skills, people skills, and
discretion
D. Work Conditions : Office-Based; with occasional off-campus tasks as assigned
and delegated by the immediate superior
