Job Description

Operations – Head City

Reporting To Ankit Shah


Position Purpose: To lead the overall operation of MRF and Collection of waste of the
entire city, daily coordination with the corporate office management
team about
production and collection of waste as well as Sales of waste.
Key Accountabilities Role Descriptors
Strategy Planning and  To manage and provide effective leadership to Project & Value
Execution addition team.
 To achieve quality benchmark set by company.
 Determine areas needing cost reduction and efficiency improvement
to stay within budget and achieve targets.
 Review financial statements, activity reports, and other performance
data to measure productivity and goal achievement at MRF for Value
Addition & Special Project level.
 Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives,
and procedures, conferring with staff members as necessary.
 Seek approval of COO & Zonal Head for any expansion and growth
plan which are not budgeted for.
 Budgets are properly controlled and managed, to achieve best value
for money.
 Plan and conduct training for employees at MRF periodically for
Electrical / fire / Operational Safety.
 To attend Weekly meetings and share developments, results, of the
department and expectations from other departments.
 To attend Monthly meetings to Share previous month performance
and problem or achievements and also share next month’s
Roadmap.
 Responsible for P & L of the City MRF
Operations Planning  Carry out necessary reporting to the Top Management for Value
additions.
 Coordinate activities at MRF for ensuring smooth Value addition and
saleable intermediate product.
 Ensuring smooth operation all-round the year for value additions to
ensure maximum recoverable value at MRF.
 Determine monthly goods dispatch and sales planning, and
maximize the return on price and minimize the cost incurred during
the process.
 Ensure documentation compliance without which no dispatches are
made.
 Plan & maintain the infrastructure at MRF with Value additions
facilities.
 Ensure all material coming from collections operations into MRF is
processed through Quality Checks and weight is verified before
acceptance, failure to do so will be the sole responsibility of MRF
Management Team and will be considered gross negligence.
 Keep stock of segregated material at minimum at all times and
ensure dispatches regularly.
 Manage and ensure that all records of the movement of goods into
and out of MRF are kept.
 Manage MRF in such a manner to avoid accidental loss of material
due to natural or man-made situations.
Team Management  Manage staff, prepare work schedules and assign specific duties.
 Coordinate with functional and cross functional teams.
 Compliance to EHS and HR requirements.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills


Qualification  Any B.E. Mechanical/ B.tech, Or any other equivalent qualification
 MBA or any equivalent degree
Experience  Minimum 08-10 years of experience in a MRF/Plant/Manufacturing
facility supervision role Proven experience leading a team and
