As part of the goal mandated by the Department of Education in communicating learners’ need,
progress, and achievement to stakeholders specially the parents, the school held a homeroom PTA
meeting. This is meeting is essential in updating the parents regarding their learner’s status and
attitude.
The meeting started at 8 o’clock in the morning. There were 12 attendees in the meeting. Before
the meeting the parents were asked to sign the attendance sheet.

Other Matters
The meeting started with a prayer lead by Mrs. Lucia Bermas. After the prayer, the adviser
discussed that some of the learners’ grades are impressively improving, and the students need to
work a little bit more to attain the grade of 90 to attain a “With Honor” award. The adviser also
encourages the parents to monitor and support their learners specially now that they are about to
graduate. The adviser also ask the parents to support the classroom through helping in cleaning
and maintaining the school facilities. In line with this, the students help in creating a small
landscape in front of the grade 12 classroom in cooperation with Capstone/Culminating Activity
teacher, Mrs. Gracelita Bodoso. The adviser also re-discussed the schedule of the graduating
students which includes the following:

June 21, 2022 Pictorial
June 23, 2022 Recollection
June 29, 2022 Thanksgiving Mass
June 30, 2022 Graduation Day
The parents insisted that they wanted to have a simple yet solemn graduation ceremony because
according to them, their learners weren’t able to experience a completion rite due to the
pandemic. It has been agreed by the student’s and parents that the color of the toga is black and
they agreed to pay 100 pesos for its rent. The students and parents also agreed to pay 120 pesos
for the pictorial package which includes a 5R printed photo with an attire of Filipiniana for the
female and barong for the male. The parents also agreed to shoulder part of the graduation
expenses amounting to 300 pesos each student. The parents and students agreed to the total of
520 pesos each student. It has been agreed that the deadline of the payment for graduation is on
June 20, 2022 to give teachers ample time to prepare for the event. There were also 5 parents
who paid for the graduation.
Lastly, the parents were given their student’s cards and certificates. As all other pertinent
concerns were dealt with the time being, the meeting was adjourned at exactly 10 o’clock in the
morning. Prior to departure, parents help in the landscaping project that the grade 12 students
are doing.
