1. Importance of assessing one's PEC skills.

In this field, every information related to my core is very crucial. We are moving and
upgrading every single day in different aspects of our lives specially as a future educators and
connections to entrepreneurship and the activities. According to the module and its
presentation, entrepreneurship is both an art and science of converting ideas into marketable
goods and services to improve man’s quality of life. It means that everyone of us specifically
entrepreneurs play an important role in society and with the help of assessing their own pecs,
they had opportunity to improve and maintain their personal entrepreneurial competency
skills. It says that entrepreneur is a catalyst for economic change, who uses purposeful
searching, careful planning and sound judgement in carrying out the entrepreneurial process.
For me, I’m amazed on those people who see their selves as a catalyst of change, they
pursuing it not only to being wealth but to build their characteristics and skills that they can
share with other future entrepreneurs. In power point presentation, a PECs can look for the
achievements consisting those characteristics like opportunity seeking, being persistent,
having a commitment, a risk taker and demand for efficiency and quality of a product and
services. A planner which systematic in monitoring, a goal setter and seeking for information
and of course having a power of self- confidence.
We must compare the said characteristics to our own skills and make it assessment for
that we can able to improve and share our own PECs. With the help of all sources given like
in YouTube video, it stated those following effective skills, attributes and characteristics that
needed to possess as entrepreneur. Check your self and be the best version it.

2. PECs as an integral part of teaching Industrial Arts

PECs had a significant part in teaching Industrial Arts, it provides experiences that
develop basic skills and knowledge common to many occupations and profession. By
knowing our own PECs, we can define our characteristics in different works and practices
that is related to Industrial Arts and we can adapt it and show near future. The study of
industry helps us as a future educators understand that the materials and products which
contribute to the comforts of everyday living. It provides a means by which of us can apply in
practical and meaningful situations, this course designed to enhance knowledge, skills, and
attitudes of a person on IA competencies such as tools and Equipment.
