Write an essay on the following questions.

1. How is artificial intelligence transforming the journalism sector in the

Philippines?

Artificial intelligence in journalism, in my opinion, is advantageous to the news

company that employs it. This is because the usage of robots significantly reduces the

workload for the journalist. This suggests that the writer merely has to acquire material,

fact-check it, scrutinize it, and put it in the proper perspective. Robots are capable of

analysing a variety of complicated material fast, which helps speed up the transcription

of lengthy audio and video interviews that journalists undertake with a variety of people.

do simple and uncomplicated duties like composing two to six paragraph news articles.

Natural language generation (NLG), which is at the heart of most current

developments brought about by automation and artificial intelligence, is used in this

method. The notion states that if people and computers can communicate properly, their

collaboration will be much more fruitful. Furthermore, it is more efficient to teach perfect,

lightning-quick robots than it is to teach clumsy, unreliable individuals how to speak and

comprehend our own human languages when interacting with computers. It is the

technology that underpins "chatbots," which are increasingly responsible for providing

customer care. They are expected to create news items based on the material provided,

not to reply to inquiries.

2. How is artificial intelligence improving the education sector in the Philippines?

Machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) are major growth and

innovation drivers in many industries, including education. Within the next three years,

up to 47% of learning management products will have AI capabilities, predicts

eLearning Industry. Although AI-powered EdTech solutions have been available for

some time, adoption has been slow. The pandemic, on the other hand, fundamentally

changed the situation and compelled educators to use technology to deliver virtual

learning. Technology should now be considered a core element of education, according

to 86% of educators. AI has the potential to increase learning as well as education,

advancing the area of education for the benefit of both students and teachers.

Children frequently require extra assistance outside of the classroom, but many

instructors are too busy to aid pupils after school. In this situation, AI instructors and

chatbots are the ideal options. Even though no chatbot can completely replace a

teacher, using AI technologies outside of the classroom can help students improve their

abilities and develop their weak areas. They provide pupils with a tailored educational

experience without requiring the instructor to be available all the time to answer queries.

All students may learn at any time and from any location thanks to tools powered by AI.

Every learner progresses at their own rate, and kids may experiment to find what works

for them without having to wait for an instructor.

3. How is artificial intelligence revolutionizing the agriculture sector in the

Philippines?

Farmers may use drones to monitor a variety of characteristics of rice production,

including growth rate, nutrient content, and insect prevalence, using easily accessible

2
software. A farmer may receive real-time information from drones on the state of their

crops, including plant height and the number of tillers. With this knowledge, they might

be able to make the required modifications right away to boost their production. Some

drones have artificial intelligence, such as drone sprayers (AI). These drones will return

to the same location after speaking with their operator if there is not enough insecticide

in the payload.

The ongoing success in the development of driverless automobiles served as a

catalyst for the creation of autonomous tractors, which will be able to till soil and do

other agricultural activities that need movement without an actual driver present. One of

the numerous technological industries throughout the world that has been looking at

autonomous car technology applications for a while is agriculture. According to Kelsi

Burley of CBD Central, self-driving tractors should be feasible within the next ten years.

In contrast to autonomous commuting cars, which must be aware of the difficulties in

navigating congested city streets full of people and other vehicles, driverless tractors

may actually prove to be easier to run in farms with a more regulated environment.

4. How is artificial intelligence altering the world of entertainment sector in the

Philippines?

The entertainment sector is currently the most inventive one in the world. It must

undergo regular, significant modifications in order to be successful. People quit coming

to the movies because they become sick of seeing the same old flicks. They are

constantly looking for new experiences. Technology has fundamentally altered the

entertainment industry. Today's most innovative artists are drawn to machine learning

3
and artificial intelligence (AI) (ML). Future entertainment sector success will be primarily

attributed to AI.

AI has frequently raised the standard for entertainment. The future of the

entertainment industry is AI. It will be helpful if actors have a conflicting date since they

are working on another movie. As a result, movies will be completed quickly since there

won't be a waiting period for performers who are unable to appear at a specific moment.

AI will also be used to bring dead actors back to life. There will also be substantial time

and expense savings. All marketing processes will be performed considerably more

swiftly than they are now thanks to AI's predictive analysis. It will also be used for

advertising programming and design. Users will receive personalized content depending

on how they use the website and their data activities.

5. How is artificial intelligence impacting the government in the country?

Our government uses artificial intelligence (AI) in a variety of ways. For instance,

it might be used to improve citizen contact with the government and accomplish public

policy objectives in areas like emergency services, health care, and welfare. The

leaders in AI application should be emulated and studied by governments. Numerous

nations have begun conducting small-scale AI projects. True AI has only been scaled by

a tiny minority, and they are still confined to research and development. The industry

has changed as a result of leaders in AI using AI widely to provide better, more

customized services, increase sales, and save costs.

Artificial intelligence is now used in the Philippines to verify identities when

people seek for official IDs or online bank accounts. This also acts as a security

procedure to identify the true user of the aforementioned accounts. The same thing

4
happens when people arrive at an airport and take off for their journey. The AI security

system in the airport can assess a person’s identity and examine the travellers for any

indications of danger thanks to the usage of cameras. Deep learning gives this sort of

approach the ability to detect any suspicious behaviour.
