1. What is the ethics of Islamic student association? Explain
Answer

As an Islamic student, the ethics of association that must be applied are ethics derived
from islamic teachings (quran) and exemplified by the Prophet through hadith /
sunnah. Ethics of association of fellow Muslims in the Qur'an, namely,

1. Making peace
2. Creating brotherhood,
3. Not insulting to fellow Muslims,
4. Stay away from prejudice, look for the faults of others, and gossip
5. Get to know each other, and lastly
6. Love their fellow man.

In Islam there are several aspects or things regarding association that need to be
considered, including who and how to speak, behave, act and respect the person faced
by considering the time and conditions faced. In this ethics of association there are
several things that need to be considered as objects of association.

1. of Association with Peers

Peers or sidekicks are people or friends whose age is not far adrift with
us either the same or younger. As for getting along with friends, we must
always do good and prioritize noble morals. Things that need to be addressed
in association with peers include:
a. Say hello every time you meet your peers and fellow Muslims. If
necessary we can shake hands of course if the person is the same gender or
our mahram.
b. Saying the legal greetings is sunnah for Muslims and answering the
obligatory greetings. Always connect the ropes of friendship by visiting
each other and gathering for good things or studying together
c. Mutual understanding and understanding the good and shortcomings of
each other and avoiding all kinds of disputes
d. Peers should help each other in terms of kindness and help peers who are
in distress of course very lovedAllah SWT for example by giving alms
 e. Love and pay attention to each other especially if there is a friend who is
in trouble or is in trouble, we as friends are obliged to supportand if we
need to provide help
f. Always keep friends from bad influences or other people's distractions
g. Giving each other good advice
h. Reconcile friends if anyone is at odds
i. Praying for friends that they will always be in the good
j. Visit him if he is sick, come if given an invitation and deliver him to the
funeral.

2. Ethics of Association with older people

Islam always teaches to do good to the elderly and the older, respect and
respect it. Some things to consider in getting along with older people are:

a. Respect them wholeheartedly and always follow their counsel in

goodness
b. Model their good behavior and make it a lesson
c. Greeting every time you meet and always speak a weak word and
maintain good manners
d. Do not say harshly to them and keep their feelings even if they say no
good, let us not reply with bad words also to avoid conflict.
e. Always pray especially if they are our parents or relatives.

3. Ethics of Association with the Opposite Sex

The thing that needs to be considered and no less important in Islamic

association is the procedure of getting along with the opposite sex. Islam itself
regulates the pattern of relations between men and women and separates the
two in accordance with the applicable sharia. As for the things that we need to
know and hold firmly include the following things

a) Avoiding being alone or alone as well as in dating especially if you

have a courtship relationship of different religions.
b) Do not look at the opposite sex with shahwat or lust. Avoid targeting
the opposite sex unless absolutely necessary
 c) Avoid shaking hands with the opposite sex unless mahram
d) Close aurat if you meet the same sex or opponent.
e) Should avoid actions that lead to adultery

Answer
a) Closing the aurat
Closing the aurat is the first principle that becomes the basis for the clothing
can be said to be in accordance with Islamic law. As has been explained by the
jurists of jurisprudence that the male aurat is between the navel to the knees
and the female aurat is the whole body except for the two palms and the face.
b) Not transparent

See-through clothing, which shows the shape of the body that should be
covered vaguely is not Islamic clothing. Because, indirectly transparent
clothes mean not closing the aurat, "just enveloping the body".

c) Not tight/narrow
The clothes used by a Muslim must be loose and not tight. Good clothes are
clothes that do not show the curves of the body so that the person who sees is
not provoked to commit negative acts or abuse.
d) Does not resemble the opposite sex

3) Eat and Drink with the Right Hand
4) Not Blowing Food or Drink
5) Drink with Three Sips
6) Pouring Water Into The Glass To Taste

8) Saying Hamdallah

4. How does ethics lead to knowledge/learning according to the

teachings of Islam?
Answer
1. Sincerely because of God
Sincerely is the first and fundamental key to success in an effort to
realize their ideals of achieving useful knowledge. Because only on a sincere
basis, all acts of kindness carried out will be charity that deserves the reward
of goodness from God, the God of the universe.
2. Praying
In Islam, a student of knowledge in addition is encouraged to strive for
Allah SWT to command the students of knowledge to do‟a with do‟a.
3. Mean it really
Including the key to success in studying is to be serious and encouraged
to seek the pleasure of Allah. This is as explained by The Swt.
4. Stay away from intoxication
Another condition for science claimants who want to succeed is to stay
away from intoxication. This condition is a unique condition that is only
owned by the Islamic religion.The influence of intoxication on the obstruction
of knowledge has been proven to befall The Faith of Shafi‟i. this can be seen
from the complaint of Imam Shafi‟i to one of his teachers named Waki‟. This
story was told by Imam Shafi‟i in a poem of my gift, Meaning: "I complained
to my teacher named Waqi‟, about the uglyness of my memorization, so he
instructed me to leave the gloom. For indeed science is light, and the light of
God will not be given to those who do the right thing."
5. Not Ashamed and Not Arrogant
Pride and shame cause the culprit will not get knowledge as long as the
two traits are still in him
6. Adopting and Disseminating Knowledge
In the teachings of Islam, there are three commandments that are
interrelated to the claimants of knowledge. The command is to seek
knowledge, practice and convey it to others. Trilogy demanding this
knowledge should not be separated from oneself, because each other has a
close relationship. Islam recommends the obligation to study every Muslim,
and on the other hand he also ordered that the knowledge that has been known
should be practiced and preached to others.
