SUMMARY
FILDIS and READING AND PHILIPPINE HISTORY are related to each other because it’s all about
studying the past. Studying Philippine History is important because you have to understand and know the things
that happened in the past for you to appreciate the future and present situation of the country. It also makes us
aware about our past and the shared past. It provides insights into the processes and events of the past and
interconnects them.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION develops students' competence and confidence to take part in a range of physical
activities that become a central part of their lives, both in and out of school.

ASIAN CUISINE can easily represent the power of its country, thus, are useful tools for education in Asian
culture. It teaches student to cook Asian dishes where we learn not only the dish but also the background story
of it.

MACRO PERSPECTIVE is designed to give a clear and overview of tourism and hospitality as an ecosystem
and goes beyond the usual closed-concept of tourism. It teaches us how to choose the best place with a good
hospitality.

CHRISTOLOGY is the part of theology that is concerned with the nature and work of Jesus, including such
matters as the Incarnation, the Resurrection, and his human and divine natures and their relationship.

ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT and PURPOSIVE COMMUNICATION are connected to each

other because it teaches student how individuals and groups interact within organizations, and how firms
interact with one another and with consumers, employees, communities, and institutions.

NSTP is to train and teach students to acquire various principles that will be helpful in the development of their
life and the community. This program is so beneficial for it is one way for the students to learn and train to
become well-disciplined and effective.

Sa modyul na ito, mas napapalawak ang kaalaman ko sa ating wika na kung saa’y napapalalim pa lalo ang aking
pagiging pilipino.

Paggamit ng Wika sa Dula at Pelikula
Dito ko natutunan kung ano ang mga bahagi ng Dula at Pelikula at mga uri nito. Sa modyul na ito mas
lumalalim ang kaalaman ko sa wika lalo na sa paggamit ng wika sa sula at pelikula.

Sa modyul na ito, aking natutunan ang uri ng pagbasa, kahalagahan ni to at kung saan ito magagamit. Dito ko
mad lalong natutunan ang maikling kwento at mga bahagi nito na kung saa’y maaaring magamit sa
kasalukuyang panahon.

Sa pamamagitan nito, napagalaman ko kung ano ang pagsulat kung ano ang kahalagahan nato sa atin. Dito rin
napalawak ang aking kaalaman tungkol sa pagsulat dahil sa mga uri, bahagi, at kung paano ito gamitin sa
kasalukuyang panahon.

Teoryang Pampanitikan
Dito ko natutunan ang iba’t ibang uri ng teoryang pampanitikan na kung saa’y ang layunin nato ay
maipalaganap at maintindihan ng mga tao kung gano kahalaga para sa atin ang wika.

Sa modyul na ito ay nalaman ko ang mga uri ng panitikan at mga uri ng tula na kung saa’y nakakatulong upang
makabuo ng maayos na akda.
 MACRO PERSPECTIVE
MODULE 1
In this module I learned that Tourism is important for us, especially knowing it’s types and components. It
teaches us to know what to do when traveling, how to pick the best tourist spot/destination, a better
accommodation to stay, where you can enjoy and appreciate the beauty of the places. As an OLSCHONIANS I
realized that I can apply my learnings to my everyday life, travelling or not we should know what to do
especially when we’re going to other places.
MODULE 2
In this module I learn how to differentiate the direct effects from secondary effects of tourist expenditures on
the economy of the host area. Discuss the undesirable effects of the economic aspects of tourism and
hospitality. Identify strategies which can maximize the economic effects of tourism and hospitality.
MODULE 3
1. What is world tourism?
World tourism is a leading organization in the tourism, which promotes tourism as a driver of economic
growth, inclusive development and environmental sustainability and offers the sector leadership and support in
advancing knowledge and tourism policies worldwide. Based on world tourism, “Tourism comprises the
activities of persons traveling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for not more than one
consecutive year for leisure, business and other purposes.”
2. What is TTSA?
Based on the given file/module TRAVEL AND TOURISM SATELLITE ACCOUNT or the TTSA throw light
on matters related to travel, tourism job opportunities, comparing related tourism industries including hotels,
transport, etc. It also furnishes information about global travel, tourism pertaining to growth, demand, export,
GDP, employment opportunities, capital investment.
3. What is the importance of TTSA in measuring the impact of world tourism?
The purpose of a Tourism Satellite Account is to analyze in detail all the aspects of demand for goods and
services associated with the activity of visitors. It also observes the operational interface with the supply of such
goods and services within the economy; and to describe how this supply interacts with other economies.
MODULE 4
In this module I learned that the definition of hospitality is now that easy, it’s all about how you treat your
guests, how you entertain them and especially how you act in front of them. As OLSHCONIAN, I realized that
I can apply my learnings to myself especially when I travel.
MODULE 5
In this module, I learned that the tourism in multiple effects. As an OLSHCONIAN, I realized that I can apply
my learnings to any kinds of situations when I travel.

Why do dance literatures matter to you as a student?
Dance literature matter to me as a student, because like what I said on the question above, I want to know what
our ancestors valued before for us to know what culture and literature we have before and also to pass it through
the next generation.
MODULE 2
Why do fundamental positions matter to you as a folk dance student?
To be honest, I am not a dancer who performs in front of many people I am a dancer in my own self. Like what
I answered on the question above, fundamental positions helps the dance steps more clearly and to make the
performance better that’s why it matters.

From this module, I realized that as a Christian, I have a responsibility to study this module for a better future
I understand fundamental positions by learning and answering the questions above.

MODULE 3
Why do dance terms matter to you as a folk dance student? Because it part of the dance which keeps the culture
alive, by sharing it to others and pass it through generations to generations.
MODULE 4
Why do dance demonstration matter to you as a folk dance student? Dance demonstration matter, because it
teaches the proper positions and steps while dancing. It helps one dancer to perform properly without doing a
mistake, it also helps for us to remember the arrange of the steps and also the timing of the steps in music.

Why do history of arnis matter to you as a student? History of arnis matter to me, because arnis is used by our
fellow filipinos who sacrifice their lives just to save our country from the invaders. Now, arnis is use as the self
defense when someone try to hurt or harm you.
MODULE 6
Principles of arnis teaches one person what attitude when you used an arnis, Courtesy teaches the proper way of
how to hold an arnis and how to properly use it.
MODULE 7
Based on the given file Stances are done so that you can gain competitive advantage over the balance of your
opponent, whether you are practicing Arnis training or actually involved in an actual fight. Striking techniques
teaches how and where to attack a component. A sinawali is a “weaving” of strikes together to teach different
patterns of motion.
MODULE 8
Write your reflection about our topic for today .Double sinawali is about double-motion striking. Both arms
working in a loop and in a parallel but opposite motion, i.e., as one strikes, the other is cocked, ready to strike.

From this module, I realized that as a Christian, I have a responsibility to know what is the meaning of
gymnastics and it’s benefits on our body
I understand gymnastics by reading and searching about the benefits that we get on gymnastics and how to

Yes, because in old buildings we can see the beauty in it, the hard work of people who built it, and how it
started before or the story behind it. Yes, it is considered as a primary source because when you want to build a
new one, you’ll get an idea on the old buildings on how you will improve the new one.
b. Do you have the intention of visiting historical places in our country? If you happened to
Visit these places, how are you going to critique the cite?
Yes, because I wanted to see what our ancestors do, how magically it is, and what story it has. When I visit the
place, I will just explore it, then learn it’s story behind it, and reminisce about the past.

To be honest, I really watch historical movies or documentaries because I wanted to learn about our past and I
am curious about its different stories.

MODULE 1
1. Discuss briefly the meaning of a memorandum.
A memo, or memorandum, is a written document businesses use to communicate an announcement or
notification. It is the most common form of business communication. It assumes a one-to-all perspective,
broadcasting a message to a group audience, rather than to individuals such as what email or letters often do.
2. What is the importance of a Memorandum?
The importance of memorandum is to inform the employees, to remind, to give information, in short it helps
everyone to communicate and to spread the announcement. A memo is an appropriate type of communication to
use when making company announcements such as an employee promotion. Some companies also use the
business memo to welcome new employees who will fill a vital role in the organization.
 ASIAN CUISINE
SOUTHERN ASIA
After watching, I learned a lot about it, how much they believe on the meaning of the dishes they eat. In
Hong Kong even they just eat a street food I can see how they appreciates it. It's tasty, fantastic and unique. In
Singapore some of the ingredients used are familiar to me because we also have that here in the Philippines,
cinnamon, calamsi etc. I noticed almost all of their ingredients used or dishes they served have a meaning. It's a
new to me knowing that the dishes they cooked or served during the Chinese new year will change its name when
normal days because as I said there's a meaning every dishes if I am not mistaken. Also the way how they cook
or do the dishes have a meaning it's like lucky, wealthy and good health for their journey all through the year.
And there's also a dishes that they can only eat during Chinese new year. Over all I think all of their dishes are
fabulous.

EAST ASIA
Kimchi is a traditional Korean dish consisting of pickled vegetables, which is mainly served as a side dish
with every meal, but also can be served as a main dish. Kimchi is mainly recognized as a spicy fermented cabbage
dish globally. As a traditional fermented Korean side dish, kimchi is more than just vegetables prepared with a
variety of seasonings. It embodied the identity of a nation. Kimchi has become a symbolic resource for all Korean
people. ... As it's fermented, kimchi is full of good bacteria.
SOUTH ASIA
Foreign countries have influenced a lot of these dishes. This is due to the fact that traders and colonizers
have visited the Philippines for centuries. The American and Spanish colonizers, and the Chinese and other
Southeast Asian traders influenced and brought about a kaleidoscope in the Filipino way of cooking.
CENTRAL ASIA
Popular among Russian alpinists and explorers, Central Asia had the highest mountain peaks in the Soviet
Union. Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan were just one of the Soviet countries
behind the Iron Curtain. It is a region rich in natural resources, including oil and gas, and has a surprising
variety of animals and plants. And it is a region long shrouded in mystery, known by most for its role in ancient
trans-Asian commerce via the Silk Road.
