1. There are many ways to harness energy from Earth’s resources one of which is the
Geothermal source of energy wherein they gather the needed energy from deep
underground, which then returns as steam and that steam is then used to power up
engines. Second will be the wind source of energy, which windmills are used to, where
in the air are responsible for spinning its blades and to its generator which then creates
the said electricity. The third one would be the Hydroelectric powerplants which uses the
motion of the water to harness the needed energy. Lastly there is also the fossil fuels
which is used to heat water and to produce the said steam and same through as the
others they use the same way to use steam as an ingredient on producing electricity.
2. Heat of the planet, or which we can derive as Geothermal energy, this energy is found
from the deep underground of the Earth, where heat is evident, and that those heat were
used to turn water into steam, which then that steam will be used to power up engines.
3. Flowing water or what we call Hydroelectric power, the said water is then stored in a
reservoir, and when energy is needed it will then be released, the water then travels to
the penstock which responsible from giving the water its motion, and then turn the
blades of the turbine which generates electricity.
4. With regards to the situation we are up to right know, and how Philippines economy
works at the present, I would say the most efficient energy sources would be the
hydroelectric powerplants, wind power sources, and the solar energy sources, one factor
on why I chose these is that they do not produce a mass amount of carbon emissions,
nature destructions, and water pollution, second is that they do not beg for big funds in
order to harness energy, yes they could at the first phase but after some time the said
source will last for a long time not begging for high number of cost on maintenance,
unlike the others, for example are geothermal source of energy and nuclear
powerplants.
