1. Is Front Gate Operations important? Why?

Yes, it is really important and it’s a must. Comfort and safety are considered to be some of the most
important things in any company establishment, and all this is possible to attain this when you secure
your premises. As the first point of contact for guests, your job is to ensure their day starts with a
smile.
Employers should provide and maintain a system of work on gate operation or gate–related work
which is safe and without risks to health. Employers should provide the necessary information,
instructions, training and supervision to all employees in respect of gate-related work to ensure their
health and safety.

2. There are 3 ways to determine the number of guests in one attraction/amusement/theme park.
Which of the 3 is the most effective and efficient method to use to monitor the number of guests to
ensure that the attraction will not exceed to the maximum capacity standards? Why?

Installing turnstiles is a great way to monitor who enters and exits your building, eliminating potential
security threats and limiting access to intruders.

Technology has advanced so much over the past two decades, meaning that turnstiles are smarter
and more reliable than ever. They can control the flow of traffic in certain areas, providing a consistent
stream of traffic at a controlled rate. Nowadays, turnstiles can be programmed to limit access for
example, staff can access certain areas whereas visitors cannot. They provide a physical deterrent,
limiting those who wish to access an area without authority. Turnstile gates offer the best entrance
control, by providing an accurate count of attendance and increasing overall security by efficiently
isolating any potential trouble, so that any illegal possessions can be confiscated.
