II. SECOND PART OF THE EXAM

Summary

The effectiveness of interaction is critical for the success of creative businesses. The
tourism business has seen significant changes as a result of the rapid growth of ICT
solutions. Previously, the industrial environment had a significant impact on consumer
decision-making. The introduction of information websites began the era of digital tourist
spaces, which was preceded by theme parks and thematic destinations; nevertheless, this
targeted information flow used to be one-directional with limited options. In today's digital
era, a new generation of commercial activities takes place in virtual reality (VR) or
augmented reality (AR) areas, and real-time study of customer reactions and behavior
helps to increase their buying willingness. The importance of AI is growing as old decision-
making processes are being supplanted with personalized options.

As the sharing economy grows, more emphasis is placed on social well-being, as user
experience gradually takes precedence over ownership. This new approach is also
reflected in newer payment methods, which have the potential to significantly reduce
intermediate activity earnings. The tourism business does not appear to be affected by the
new trends, because the actual costs and revenues are not yet known. On the other hand,
the tourism and hospitality industries stand to benefit greatly from the qualitative growth of
3D printing technology. Digitalization has finally progressed to the point where it can fully
assist the cost-effectiveness and long-term sustainability of industrial food production,
opening the way for the future of tourism and hospitality.

Comment, Suggestions, or Thought

Anyone working in the tourism and hospitality industries should be aware that things have
changed dramatically in the last few years. The introduction of social media and consumer
mobile technology has ushered in a much more data-centric service delivery model, which
has been rapidly gaining traction over the last decade. Digital technology is both driving
and directing today's efforts to create a personalized experience. Students interested in
working in the travel and hospitality industry should be aware of the relationship between
data and human experience, as the two are becoming increasingly intertwined. That is
what I've understood in the article.

The distinction between our online and physical lives is becoming increasingly blurred. For
example, our living spaces are now hybrid online and offline areas with a tremendous
symbiotic interaction. People get a break from their normal lives and living environments
when they use spaces in hospitality. Those areas are becoming increasingly important in
today's digital environment.

The tourism industry is currently experiencing an increase in demand for personalized

experiences. This creates a two-fold obligation for travel and hospitality. Consumers today
are seeking customized material that will encourage them to call a chosen service provider.
They're also looking for consistency between what's promised in marketing materials and
how the product or service works.

In the upcoming years, AI's impact on the hospitality market is expected to increase.
Almost every object we use will ultimately be connected to the Internet if current trends
continue. As a result, two-way communication is likely to become the norm for most
devices, with the data generated becoming a staple of market research. Any serious
student should try to understand the bidirectional communication framework, which is a
type of AI.

By bypassing traditional channels like booking websites, blockchain technology will play
an increasingly important role in travel marketing in the near future. It achieves this by
promoting meaningful dialogue between consumers and sellers while keeping
intermediary firms such as Expedia and other middleman apps. It's crucial to remember
that while the preceding information is helpful, it's only a sliver of all the complexities of
digital technologies that affect travel and hospitality marketing. Digital marketing, artificial
intelligence, and blockchain are excellent electives for those interested in a career in travel
and hospitality.
