Analysis 2:
These are some artworks that effectively used some art principles. Describe each image and state why
the use of a specific principle became effective in increasing/improving the impact and quality of their
works. See if you can also find more principles present in the work. Compare your answer with those of
your classmates. Use the space beside each image to briefly state your answers

SCALE AND PROPORTION

The use of scale and proportions was the

reason why the sculpture is so detailed,
which allows art to achieve a visual
purpose and I think the purpose is to
make it realistic. And if we focus on the
masterpiece, we will notice that the
principle of art called "Harmony" is also
used, because the elements and colors
“Bukas na Lata” Sculpture by Kat Grow used in this sculpture are the same.

HARMONY AND PATTERN

The effectiveness of both the harmony
and the pattern was clearly visible in
the art because, looking at it, every
harmony has the same pattern, which
are the tones of the colors used. The
other principle used in this masterpiece
was "Balance" because color was the
balance between the whole area. The
“Kayumanggi” harmony of the image helps to bring
unity, all harmony and no difference.
However, it can be monotonous, a
balance needs to be struck between
areas of Harmony and areas of contrast.
