Part 1:

- I live in Da Nang center city. The best thing I like about there is the
variety of high-quality services and modern facilities. It also has an
abundant source of entertainment that you can enjoy comfortably
such as go shopping, watching movies, and playing sports,…I can
easily approach public transport. However, I dislike something in
my neighborhood. Not only it’s so noisy and crowded, but also it’s
extremely polluted.
- I think I will choose to move to a small village. It is a quiet and
peaceful place. (/pheis/) I can enjoy a healthy natural condition
without worrying much about environmental pollution. Moreover,
the food is fresher and cleaner than in other areas. Living in the
countryside is cheaper than it is in a city so I can buy many things
at lower prices. Besides, the local people are so friendly and nice.
- My city has a variety of entertainment so young people can do
many things for amusement. (ơ miu j mần).They often do sports
activities to improve their health like cycling, jogging, swimming,
…They also go theatre to watch movies or enjoy concerts. Another
popular amusement is parks or museums.
- I hope my local council (cao sồ) will plan more and more trees in
street. There are too many transports on roads that cause polluted
air (er) . Planting trees not only make air cleaner but also creates
(kri ét) beautiful views for city. Citizens can feel relaxed and
comfortable when they see them
Part 2: Topic 1
Picture 1: - A small family is gathering together to hold a birthday
party. They want to give colorful presents to a cute baby -) a small
private celebration in a warm homely atmosphere. A little girl in
the center of attention is excited and cheerful. Her parents and
grandparents must be feeling very proud of her. They expect(ịt
spek) she will grow up well -) give her the best wishes. It’s a
 special day to celebrate a private occasion together -) contact
member families together and share mutual happiness.
Picture 2: - A parade (pơ râyd) of colorful floats is decorated with
flags and flowers. There are many lamp posts are decorated with
many colorful flags -) a national festival. Almost people on both
sides of the road are in high spirits at the festival. The noisy
atmosphere is stirred (stor) up (khuấy động) by excited cheering
crowded and street performances. This is a special occasion when
people can take a break from their daily routine. The local people
also have opportunity to present their cultural specificity.
=) People in the second picture are having the most fun because it’s
delightful to enjoy colorful floats and decorations in the streets.
Topic 2:
Picture 1: 2 children in a room are concentrating on playing music.
A boy is playing the piano while a girl is playing a transverse (chan
vơts) flute.(/flu:t/). They can learn how to be proficient in playing
instruments. This is an occasion to bring out their natural musical
talent and develop some essential skills such as the ability to
concentrate and coordinate (kâu đi nệt). They will have more time
to practice carefully -) which could lead to a musical career. A
creative (/kri ei tiv/) extra-curricular (/kơ rik kiu ler/) -) encourage
thinking outside the box.
Picture 2: A group of buskers (bớt kơ) playing in the streets. This
is a good chance to earn a little extra money while pursuing their
passion. It also gives the opportunity to perform in front of crowd -)
develop self-confidence. A good way to enjoy your free time -)
relax and get out of stress after busy times. They can be recognized

develop a professional musical career. A better chance to meet

- Airplane:
 +Positive: go everywhere in the world in a few hours. Not just
limited to local areas. Offers convenient, reliable and fast services
of transport. High Standard of protection with a low risk of robbery
(ro be ry) and injury(/ind3ri/).This ensures you save a lot of time
and money by not having to provide extra packaging services. Help
improves trade and travel.
+Negative: cause an increase in air pollution, can use up fossil
fuels. It’s the riskiest mode of transport when compared to other
means of travel, the risk of collisions is higher. The cost of
maintaining aircraft is higher and the costs of the building airport
are much higher -) air travel is so expensive. There is a whole
variety of materials not suitable for such products that can’t be
shipped by air plane
- Mobile phone:
+ Positive: allow instant worldwide communication -) contact
easily our family, friends, or others any time through means like
voice calls, text messages, video calls,…Can be used to acquire
(/acquaier/) knowledge or information on various topics. Useful in
case of emergency (/inmod3si/) in some special situations. We can
use our smartphones to earn money by creating (crieting) blogs,
Youtube videos, and promoting business,…
+ Negative: can be costly, creates a distraction between your works.
One of the biggest things responsible for the wastage (/wei.stid3/)
of time. Using a mobile phone too much makes a person addicted to
them. Increases cyberbullying situations. Cause some health
problems related to metal, eyes, ear,…
- Skyscraper
+Positive: Have so much space inside of the building -) support
affordable living for increasing population. Allows people to live in
cities and have access to public transport or quality services.
Cheaper than a house. Provide a good view for everyone.
 + Negative: Can be cramped and noisy, lack of space. These huge
structures have greater foundations so if there is a natural disaster
or any problems with the foundation there could be a major
problem. Not safe with little children.
- Surgical operation:
+ Positive: Improvements in medicine affect our lives greatly. The
medical system has transformed and cured many fatal diseases,
Operations are performed painlessly and with fewer risks thanks to
high-tech methods -) the life expectancy of people has enhanced
and improved. Easily monitor patients’ health status by digital
devices.
+ Negative: People depend too much on the medical system. A
higher chance of success means people worry less about caring for
their health. People live longer -) rise in population has a harmful
effect on the Earth. Operation is quite costly.
- Space explorations:
+ Positive: can explore life on other planets -) gain knowledge of
our planet. Predict weather more accurately. Information is
broadcasted by satellite. Provides us access to new materials.
+ Negative: Extremely high cost -) money spent on it could be used
for medical research, education is more important. Our current
technology makes it dangerous to get into space in the first place.
- Robot:
+ Positive: Can Increase levels of production because unlike
humans, robots don’t get tired and they don’t need to take breaks -)
work all time. They also can work in environments that are unsafe
for humans like in the nuclear or in chemical industries. Robots
don’t have the same quality environmental requirements that
humans do such as lighting, air conditioning, or noise protection.
Have actuators -) more capable than humans. Mass production of
goods helps to boost the world economy.
 + Negative: May cause unemployment because it replaces people in
jobs. Although they can be superior to humans in some ways, they
don’t have such powerful brains as humans. Robots often are very
costly in terms of the initial cost, maintenance, and the need to be
programmed to do the task.
Part 4:
- In my view, I think weapons and nuclear bombs are the least
beneficial because they are so dangerous that they can destroy our
peaceful lives. Wars in the world use them as main tools to attack
and cause destruction and suffering for innocent people.
- In my opinion, the greatest human achievement ever is the internet
as it helps to connect everything. Thank internet, we can send
instant information everywhere. We can have enormous
documentary resources to study. The internet allows you to sell
most goods and earn a lot of money. Businesses can use the internet
to advertise their products or service to everyone in the world.
- I don’t interested in scientific research. I find them so complex that
I can’t understand them. I realized that I was born to love arts so I
tend to research all topics about arts and life.
- In the future, I think we will develop means of transport. We can
have flying cars in the sky and have more vacations in space.
Moreover, these vehicles don’t use petrol but instead use
environmentally friendly fuels such as electronic, hydrogen,…I also
look forward to seeing a new life in the sky like in land.
