Indeed, quantitative research is preferable over qualitative research
since it is more evidence based, objective, focused, and appropriate.
When the researcher has no knowledge what to expect, though,
qualitative research is utilized. For example, a vast amount of data is
acquired and then statistically examined. This essentially eliminates
bias, and if other academics did the analysis on the data, they would
always come up with the same results. It also has more control over
how data is collected and is further away from the experiment.
Finally, the study's design is established before it begins, and
research is utilized to test a hypothesis and eventually support or
reject it.

cognitive development in senior high school students.
Dependent variable: cognitive development
Independent variables: sports and activities
Type of quantitative research : Descriptive Research
Introduction:

This research investigates the scientific data on the

contributions and advantages of school-based sports and
activities for senior high school students. The research data is
offered in terms of their growth in several categories, including
physical, lifestyle, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
The ability to provide unique contributions to the development
of children's fundamental movement abilities and physical
competencies, which are required prerequisites for involvement
in later lifestyle and athletic physical activities. They can also
help with the development of social skills and social behaviors,
self-esteem and pro-school attitudes, and, in certain cases,
academic and cognitive development when provided effectively

Statement of the problem:

This research aims to examine some of the scientific data on the

contributions and advantages of physical activities for senior
high school students, as well as how it aids educational
institutions. It will accomplish so by utilizing a framework and
some data from a recent research.

Proposed Research Agenda:

As the title implies, this article is about "physical education and

sport." Because the link between the notions "physical
education" and "sport" is still a source of contention, it is worth
defining how the words are used in this study. This research
continues by asserting that there is significant evidence that
sports play a vital role in processes of personality development
and psychological well-being. Regular engagement of students
in such activities is related with a longer and better quality of
life, a lower risk of a range of diseases, and several
psychological and emotional advantages.
