Projectile Motion
I. Objective:
At the end of the lesson 85% of the students will be able to;
a. Discuss projectile motion and investigate the relationship between the projection angle, height,
and the range of the projectile,
b. Relate projectile motion in real-life situation, and
c. Calculate projectile angle, height, and the range of the projectile.

Teachers’ Activity Student’s Activity

Activity
The teacher conducts an activity
“The Shooting Marble”

The class will be divided in 5 groups

The students are doing the activity
Each representative will shoot 3 marbles into a
basket the first group to finish will receive 10
points

Analysis

How do you find the activity? It was good and fun while learning

What have you observed in the activity? As we shoot the ball there is a pattern that the
marble followed

Abstraction

So, our lesson for today is about what? Its about projectile motion sir! As what we
observed in the activity

So, by the way class, what is projectile? The curve path of an object to get in to the
target.

Projectile - any body that is given an initial

speed and then follows a path determined entirely
by the gravitational and air resistance

Projectile Motion

What do you call on the path of the object Trajectory!

follows?

Okay, its TRAJECTORY.

Trajectory class is where the path of the objects

follows.

Projectile Motion
-2D Motion
- Assume no air resistance
- only gravitational acceleration
