Kindness is an action that something we could do to others for them to feel that they are
not alone and they are being valued. Kindness will bring changes, to illustrate, from bad
to good; from negative to positive and; from sadness to happiness. A wise man once told
me and my classmates, “Be kind. Kindness cost ₱0.” that line of hers made me work with
kindness even more. I personally believe that being kind means a lot, it may not be payed
but the happiness you could feel right after you show kindness is different level, indeed.

As a future public servant, I believe that aside from knowledge we truant need kindness
as we take our job. Why? Because we are not just working for salary, if we really love our
job as a public servant then we are also concerned with the social connections and in
order to have that we need to act with kindness because it helps us feel the sense of
belonging and connect with the people. Connection with the people is not easy but do
you know what makes that easy? It is the act of our kindness. Social connections are a
simple means of unity. We, future public servant loves to be respected and for us to feel
that we must know first how to treat people right. Human connection and relationships
are central to all public servants and it will be achieved by the means of kindness.

Therefore, as a future public servant kindness is deemed essential and needed as we

serve our people because we can make them smile and we can change the world. Be
kind always because we don’t know what others are experiencing. In the world full of
cruelty be the kindness they need to see! As a future public servant, I will always show
kindness to the people around me in every single way, even in the smallest things
because everything and everyone matters regardless of the differences. Kindness is
power!
