SUBJECT TITLE: Vincentian Spirituality 103

SUBJECT DESCRIPTION:
In this subject, you will learn about the Vincentian family that was born because
of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac. You will discover how it grew and
impacted the world particularly those people in the margins of the society. You will

develop a deeper understanding of the person, values, and spirituality of St. Vincent
de Paul which will eventually lead you to learn how is it to live and grow as a young
Vincentian in this modern time.
Furthermore, you will revisit your understanding of our common Christian calling
for mission and discover deeper how the mission of St. Vincent de Paul was born from
this. Leading you to a commitment to live and grow as a true Vincentian and respond
to your own call to become Vincentian missionaries in your own unique ways.

EXIT OF LEARNING
At the end of this course, you are expected to
 have deeper understanding of the Vincentian mission as a way to respond to
today’s challenges and call for greater solidarity and justice;
 live out the virtues and values enliven by St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de
Marillac in your daily life;
 develop a greater love for the poor; and
have greater community engagement particularly in your local community by
initiating different social advocacies that will promote justice, peace and social
transformation
