Computer programmers are people who write instruction or programs that direct computers
to process information they will tell the computer what to do in a series of logical steps.
programmers work on a wide range of projects, such as manufacturing, industry, engineering,
government office, hospital, and educational institutions.
Programmers receive job description that indentify the goal of the program. Then they
prepare the system flowcharts that show how information will be processed through the
computer and its peripherals or related equipment.in most medium large computer
installation, programmers receive their instruction from system analyst or compute software
engineers.
When the preliminary steps are completed, programmers write the actual programs using
special computer languages. Each computer application has its own language. For instance,
HMTL and XML are useful when creating web application, while COBOL is used for
business applications. Since most computer programs are long and complex, they must be
tasted to see whether they will run as expected. This step is called debugging. If the test
doesn't satisfy the programmers, then they will examine the program for errors in logic and
 data. Then they will correct the problem or report it to the software engineers. To create
simple program, it can take a few days to finish, while a complicated one could take more
than a year.
