Subject: Practical Research 2

Title: “Learning Styles and Teaching Strategies of a specialized subject in a


Digitally Blended Environment of Lagro High School ABM Grade 12 students.”

Brief Introduction:
At present, students are having a hard time adapting to learning styles
because of the sudden change in environment caused by the pandemic. This
became one of the common problems for students due to the fact that Different
students have their own way of learning, but most students are having a hard time
finding the right style of learning for them. This research aims to guide students
on their different variations, choices, and methods of learning their specialized
subject.

Through conducting this research, being able to determine what is/are the
learning styles and teaching strategies that has the greatest impact on the
academic performance of students will be the key factor to solve the problem. It
will be done through descriptive and correlational analysis on the various styles
and strategies on the academic performance of students on the specialized
subjects in ABM strand.
The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship of academic
performance of students from the various learning styles and teaching strategies,
so that improvement will be established both on teaching strategies and learning
styles which will impact the academic performances. Because of the pandemic
academic performance of students had a lot of changes, for them to recover and
improve their performance at school, conducting this study will be helpful for
them. To the teachers, for them to know what are the teaching strategies that are
effective for the majority of the ABM students. Thus, conducting this research
study will benefit the teachers and students in which they will be aware of the
learning strategies and their impact on the academic performance.

Statement of the Problem:


With the goal of establishing improvements in both teaching strategies and
learning styles, which will affect academic performances, this study aims to
identify the relationship between students' academic performance and various
learning styles and teaching strategies.

Specifically it aims to answer the following questions:

1. What is/are the learning styles that are usually used by the ABM Grade 12
students for their specialized subjects?

2. Which learning styles and teaching strategies have the most


effective/greatest impact on the students' academic performances?

3. How often do students and teachers use/apply those learning styles and
teaching strategies in order to recover and improve the academic
performances of ABM Grade 12 Students?
