My name is Nguyen Tuan Kiet.

Today, I am writing this letter to explain the

reasons why I am applying for a study permit for the postgraduate certificate
named Electronics Engineering Technician - Computers at Confederation
College.
This letter will provide you with an overview of my education background,
employment history after university graduation to present as well as my plans
for future education and career.
When I was a high school student, I always set my heart on programming and
coding my own applications and websites. Therefore, I strove to pass the
entrance exam and graduated with an overall GPA of 8.3/10. During my study
at the RMIT university, I was proactive and passionate about taking part in
many project program activities. In addition, I and my teammates had a great
opportunity to witness professional programmer creating new features for their
company’s application, such as Shopee, Grab.
After searching for information on the internet and through Project IT training
centers in my city, I saw that Project Engineering courses in Vietnam are
theoretical and lack practical knowledge in the workplace. The length of these
courses is short, from 30 to 50 hours. It is known that North America countries
are the best places providing training courses about information technology
around the world, in which the United States and Canada are the top
countries with tertiary education, especially in the IT sector.
Through the internet, I found there are only a few choices in project
Engineering courses in the USA, and their curriculums are not relevant to
what I need. Then I got further information and learned that Canada is one of
the developed countries with advanced education in information technology, in
which Toronto, Ontario is the most outstanding city. It provides me with great
opportunities to connect with the IT community, and the tuition fee is more
economical than other countries like the USA. Moreover, I returned to my
older friend who has been studying in Canada for one year. She also had
positive feedback about the learning environment here. Therefore, I believe
that Toronto is the best place for me to accumulate the knowledge and
necessary skills for my career.
I have researched the curriculum of project computer Engineering courses
from famous colleges in technology in Ontario, such as Humber, George
Brown, Algonquin, Centennial, Fleming.  Finally, I decided to choose
Confederation College because this school offers me some subjects about
project Engineering which I find extremely interesting and useful for my future
career, such as:
Telecommunications: this course will help me in multiplexing, subcarriers and
frequency synthesizers and I will focus on carriers and modulation.

Industrial Electronics II: I will gain experience in analysis and troubleshooting

of industrial circuits and systems.

After my course in Confederation College, I will continue my bachelor's degree

in the same major then come back to my country to apply for international
companies.
I hope for your acceptance in my study permit so that I could have a great
opportunity to study one of the best and modern places in the world.
Thank you for your time and reading.
