Rationale:
The science curriculum provides students with the scientific knowledge, skills, and attitudes to interpret, understand, and analyze the
world around them and engage in a responsible manner. It ensures students are prepared to continue their science education at higher
levels and develop an understanding of science-related careers. Students are provided opportunities to explore their scientific
curiosities and interests all while applying their learning to real-life situations and contexts. Scientific literacy is emphasized to ensure
students gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop critical thinking and a sense of curiosity about the world around
them.
