She discovered her other parents, but with button eyes, when she entered the small door. She saw how
different they are from her biological parents. In the other world, she always got what she wanted. In
the other world, everything she wished her real parents would do was happening. As a result, what she
desires and longs for in the real world will always be contradicted in the other world
2. When Coraline first arrived in the other world, she's a little confused and decided to go back home.
What would you do if you were Coraline? Would you have been tempted to stay?
If I were Coraline, I would return to the real world because, first and foremost, having parents with
button eyes scares me, and I would never want to stay just to experience the luxurious life they
provided. I would never trade my parents in this world for anything, they made me happy and love me
even it doesn’t seem like it. Having complete parents beside you is already a blessing; however, being
dissatisfied with what they gave you will always return to you tenfold.

The button eyes in the film “Coraline” represent being imprisoned. It was used to bind and imprison
the soul that the other mother desired to imprison in the other world. The button eyes are very
significant to the other world, so one can stay or be trapped there indefinitely.
The movie titled “Coraline” conveys a message to every children who’s always demands for things or
attention to their parents. Having more on what you already had will get back on you on a harsh way,
tenfold. The movie was like an example to children of what consequences would happen if they keep
on wanting more, basically not contented. It also shows that in reality, there’s a children who’s longing
for their parent’s attention, they feel neglected
5. If you were to change the ending of the movie, how would you end it?
If I were to change the ending of the movie, I would let Coraline realize the consequences of wanting
for more and let her fix the problem by fixing her attitude. Make her parents more attentive to
Coraline, and about Wybie grandmother’s, it’s the best to talk to her and give some details about her
twin.
