New Topic, New Discovery (Multiplication of Whole Numbers )

We begin Miss Thea Faith Rabusa's demonstration on September 7 by addressing whole

number multiplication. As a future elementary educator, I am aware that multiplication, unlike
addition and subtraction, necessitates a quiet period of in-depth analysis. Multiplication is a difficult
topic to grasp, and it is the teacher's responsibility to ensure that students do not fall behind. Miss
Thea has clearly perfected her dialogue with us, which considerably influences the quality of
instruction and subsequent learning. She has a strong understanding of the subject area and can
organize and teach the lesson by stressing the important elements of the lesson to the learner
while clearing up misconceptions.

Moreover, what I admire about Miss Thea is her ability to control her tone of voice. A calm,
pleasant voice conveys the sense that her student is in command of the class and knows exactly
what she is doing. This is reassuring, even relaxing, thought for children. As listeners, we like Miss
Thea's assurance because, honestly, it is one of the attributes of a teacher while we were teaching
primary pupils. It also allows them to focus on their studies. Also, we can see that Miss Thea's
presentation is innovative, highly creative, and simplified, which makes it easy for students to
grasp, especially how she breaks her lesson down into several pieces for the students to digest
what she was opting for.

Overall, I found it challenging to introduce multiplication to our challenged math students.

But there was a silver lining. Our struggling students began to comprehend the principles being
taught when we worked to expand their awareness of the concepts and used concrete materials.
There is no easy way to teach this tricky idea. Through monitoring and timely intervention, we will
guarantee that every learner masters multiplication. It makes me realize that there is no section for
mathematics always to do your lesson in a short amount of time; you need to give your students a
couple of minutes to think and analyze what teachers are saying because, in the end, what matters
is that your students understand, learn, and apply what they have learned in their real-life
situations. Miss Thea Faith Rabusa did a great job.
