Place Value of the digits in the number

The lesson covered in Miss Grashela Labrador's teaching demonstration includes the Place Value lesson.
Apart from counting, the most important concept in teaching arithmetic to any learner is place value. It is the
cornerstone of all arithmetic concepts, from preschool through algebra, and is required for a thorough
understanding of mathematics. Students cannot proceed until they first master the concept of place value as a
fundamental notion.

However, place value is frequently a complicated matter to teach, and students frequently struggle to
understand the value of a number depending on its place. Even though it is difficult, Miss Grashela Labrador
delivers her demonstration well. She provides tasks, encourages collaboration, and assesses whether the
students understand the lesson. Honestly, being approachable or nice to her students is one of the teacher's
qualities that I admire the most, and the demonstrator never failed to achieve that. As the demonstrator
begins her lecture, I can sense a relaxed atmosphere because of the way she greets her students and
inquires about their well-being. It's incredible. The trust that might potentially be developed in the classroom is
something vital that comes with having a nice approach as a teacher. When a student perceives a teacher to
be friendly, we are more inclined to open up to the teacher, and, as a result, we are more likely to trust the
teacher. As a result, we are more likely to open up to the demonstrator. As a student in Miss Labrador's
demonstration, I appreciate how she put or exerted the picture in the imaginative and colorful one, so that she
could attract the attention of the children. I am also impressed by Miss Labrador's ability to simplify her
lessons so that we, the listeners, may easily digest and comprehend the subject. It is even more simplified
because she breaks the section that is ones and tens into steps.

Other domains, such as those focusing on cooperative activity execution, must still be observed. I
understand that collaborating is difficult because we are in an online class. Nonetheless, Miss Labrador
displayed her teaching abilities and understanding by successfully delivering the lesson in a way that her
students could appreciate and apply outside of the school area.

My viewpoint on the weekly topic has shifted as I learned that students must be able to conceptualize
numbers and draw pictures of what a number looks like before learning to say, write, and regroup them.
These new insights will guide my future teaching because I now understand that place value is a huge
concept that requires many skill sets and other integration of various before children can learn it and that
there needs to be a strong emphasis on children recognizing that where a number is placed in a number
system. Overall, congratulations to the demonstration on her achievement in demonstrating her lesson; we,
the listeners, have gained new knowledge.
