NUTRITION COMPETITION IN SOUTHEAST ASIA 2018

 Our product which is A Plate of Life has partition that separate types of food such as
vegetable ,rice ,fruit ,chicken ,meat or fish. Besides separating, the plate also gives the information
about the dangers that students can face if they don’t take good care of their nutrition intake. The
importance of this idea is to stabilize the nutrition gain of students and improvise the school setting
which will help vendors in food management and will help to reduce food waste. We targeting
students ,teachers and community to cooperate and together we will combat all forms of malnutrition
in community! If we success to make this idea float in our mind then for sure it will bring good for all of
us which is we surely reduce the malnutrition and even this is just merely an idea for a school setting it
will prove as a good idea to the exposed world and the school will get benefits which is reduced food
waste and students can save money because of the food management.
Our idea main purpose is to combat all forms of malnutrition and we named it A Plate of Life because
of this small plate will help students or anyone to manage their food so they get enough nutrition and it
will surely make us more healthy. Well ,many students are malnourished and there is even students with
obesity because of the unstable nutrition gain. Our plate are just a normal plate except it has a partition
that will help students to choose their food wisely and the risk of not taking the right type of food will be
displayed on the plate. Normally, students will pick what they want and forget about the nutrition gain
and here the plate will warn the students about the risks of not taking the right type of food to gain
enough nutrition for them. We will cooperate with the vendors to cook and serve only chosen foods
daily. The foods will changes to stabilize the nutrition that the students get and by scheduling the foods
day by day , the vendors will know what to serve daily and reduce the food waste. The students will get
enough nutrition and this system will reduce the percentage of overweight and malnourished students.
Our plate can also help students to reduce weight because of low intake of carbohydrate and high intake
of protein. With the cooperation of the vendors we will make sure that we will achieve a good result
with our idea and product. Compared to others product , A Plate of Life is very affordable but in the
same time is very effective to reduce all forms of malnutrition and instead of other products that will
show the result in long time , A Plate of Life will show the impact in a short time.
The impact that our product will be reducing the amount of people that is facing any types of
malnutrition problems and stabilize the nutrition gain of students . It will also improvise the school
settings which will help vendors in food management. It will be also be reducing food waste in school. It
will also put an impact to the community such as students, teachers, vendors and parents. The students
will save a lot of money using our product. It will also effect the market by selling our product that gives
a lot of benefits. Our product will show a lot of impact to the world and community.
Our next development plan for our product is to suggest our product to other schools so that other
schools will follow our trace and will get benefits from our product. We will also cooperate and establish
a deal with companies around the world. Our product will also be promoted through social Medias such
as our Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and many more. If our product is successful, we will try to create
another product that is more efficient. Our next product will be a lunchbox. It is almost the same but we
can easily bring it anywhere while we cannot pack foods with A Plate of Life. Other than that, the
lunchbox can be used by everyone, not just students, teachers and vendors. We can easily pack our
foods according to the partition of our lunchbox and we will get a lot of benefits from it. We will also do
a campaign or join a campaign to promote our product to raise awareness towards malnutrition that
people around the world has faced. We will plan to start a small business and then enlarge it so we can
sell our product nationwide or better, in an international scale.
